Is an OG Crypto Gambling Site with Just 2 Games Still Worth Joining?
DuckDice waddled onto the crypto gambling scene way back in 2016, offering a simple provably fair dice game and lottery. Over the years, it’s added another dice game (yep, so that’s 2 games), launched its own utility token, and bolted on a sportsbook.
Of course, back in 2016, provably fair games were a novelty – but is there still room for DuckDice in what is now a very crowded crypto casino pond? In this original CoinBets review, I’ll be signing up, wagering real crypto, and checking out all the features and rewards available.
So, is DuckDice still worth checking out? Let’s see.

DuckDice is operated by Zentari Limitada, a company registered in Costa Rica (company no. 9845000OAF4456CVB46), and is operating under an Anjouan license (ALSI-202509013-FI1).

At the time of writing this DuckDice casino review, new players were offered a welcome bonus bundle supposedly worth up to US$10,000. But is it really as generous as it first seems? Let’s open the hood and take a look at how it works… Which is a lot easier said than done.
Despite heavily promoting the DuckDice welcome package, you can’t read any details until you’ve signed up. But even then, clear information is nowhere to be found – not even in the Terms and Conditions. Instead, you’re presented with several options to “Buy Welcome Bonuses” – erm, WTF?
Seriously, I’ve reviewed hundreds of online casinos in my life, and I’ve never seen such a complete mess of a welcome offer. To add insult to confusion, the offers have a countdown timer – obviously just BS to pressure people.
Anyway, who knows what the DuckDice welcome bonus is? No information. Appalling presentation. Confused format. Wagering? Who knows, but I’ll guess it’s terrible. Bet limits? Probably. Game restrictions, most likely. Win limits, for sure (they actually do state those, which range from a pathetic $30 for the “Light Game Welcome Bonus” to $7,500 for the “Pro+Game Welcome Bonus”).
Utterly ridiculous.

At least registering a new player account with DuckDice is simple enough, with multiple options available:
Tap the orange “Register and Play” tab, enter your email, and check the box to confirm you’re 18+ and agree to the Cookies, Privacy Policy, and Terms. Then hit “Register.” That’s it, you’re in.

Important: Despite not being licensed, the DuckDice.io Terms of Service still include a list of prohibited jurisdictions – including major markets like the United States and Great Britain. The operator reserves the right to close any account opened by players from these locations, although it does say that any crypto balances will be returned – not something you see very often.

Payments
DuckDice supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies for deposits and withdrawals, including privacy coins.

To make a crypto deposit, tap the green “Wallet” button, then select “Deposit Crypto.” Choose your desired crypto from the dropdown list, and select “Wallet Address” as the payment method. Select a bonus if you wish, then choose the crypto network. You will be provided with a unique deposit address in both QR code and text formats.

To withdraw crypto, open your wallet and tap “Withdraw” (you may need to scroll down a bit). Select the balance you want to cash out from, and then select “Wallet Address” as the payment method. Choose the network, and then paste in your destination crypto wallet address. Details of fees will be stated. If everything looks good, hit “Withdraw.”

CoinBets.com Tip: Always double-check crypto wallet addresses after pasting them – you don’t want to fall victim to ‘PasteJacking’. This is when hackers exploit the copy-paste function to change wallet addresses to steal funds.
DuckDice.io also supports selected fiat currencies, including PKR, INR, NGN, VND, CAD, GHS, ARS, KZT, MXN, BDT, KGS, UZS, CLP, AZN, IDR, KES, MYR, and THB.
Buying Crypto
In common with many of the best crypto casinos, DuckDice gives you the option of purchasing crypto directly via third parties like Swapped and MoonPay.
Simply open your wallet, select “Buy Crypto”, then choose the cryptocurrency and payment method. Next, state how much you’d like to purchase, and you’ll be given a quote. If it looks acceptable, continue and follow the prompts.

Game Selection
Okay, so when it comes to casino games, things are pretty simple at DuckDice. Basically, the games are limited to Dice. There is supposed to be a provably fair lottery, too, but I couldn’t find it anywhere.
- Original Dice – Simply set a bet, select a chance, and choose a side (over or under). The lower the chance, the higher the risk, but the bigger the potential reward. To play faster, you can use Auto or Flash Mode, the latter allowing up to 100 million bets. You can also use Advanced Mode to set specific custom betting strategies.
- Range Dice – Set your bet amount and chance, then choose a range. For example, 2500 to 5000. You win if the roll lands anywhere within that range.
Dice (DuckDice.io)

Okay, so there’s really not much else to explain about DuckDice’s standard Dice game. So, I’ll just run through my experience.
First, I played 50 rolls with the following settings: 0.50 USDT bets, Win Chance 30% = Payout x3.3 ($1.15 profit on win). The result? I won back 23.10, so that’s a 92.4% RTP.
Next, I shook things up a bit, playing 120 rolls with the following: 0.50 USDT bets, Win Chance 5% = Payout x19.8% ($9.41 profit on win). It resulted in winning $39.60 – a 66% RTP.
Range Dice (DuckDice.io)

For Range Dice, I started with another 50 rolls at 0.50 USDT each, with a 30% Win Chance (range 7000-9999) = Payout x3.3 ($1.15 profit on win). This time I did slightly better, winning back $24.75 – a real RTP of 99%.
For the next game, I upped the risk – again playing 0.50 USDT bets, Win Chance 5% = Payout x19.8% ($9.41 profit on win). However, this time I actually made a profit, winning back $89.10 – an RTP of 148.5%.
Finally, to try to make DuckDice at least a little bit exciting, I played 144 x 1.00 USDT rolls with a Win Chance of just 1% = x99 payout. But at the end of the session, I’d only won back $99, giving an RTP of 68.75%.
My god, did that all sound boring? Well, you know how I felt playing it then.
-
Game variety
-
Fast gameplay
-
Dealer quality
-
Classic tables
-
Casual games
DuckDice.io doesn’t offer slot games.
DuckDice doesn’t offer crash or instant-win type games.
There are no live dealer games at DuckDice casino.
Yep, you’ve guessed it – there aren’t any table games or video poker either.
Nope. Nothing to see here.
-
Testing transparency and randomness
All games, including the lottery, at DuckDice.io are provably fair. Unfortunately, the verification system is definitely not what I’d call user-friendly – and really, desperately needs to be updated.

To learn more about the advantages of provably fair games and how verification works, check out the CoinBets Introduction to Provably Fair Gaming.
Surprisingly, despite not offering much variety in terms of casino games, DuckDice does boast a sportsbook. It offers standard and live sports betting on everything from soccer and basketball to ice hockey and darts.
Esports betting is also available for disciplines including Counter-Strike, Dota 2, League of Legends, and Valorant.

-
Current bonuses and real value
-
Rewards, rakeback, and VIP perks
In addition to the DuckDice.io welcome bonus, the platform also runs several ongoing promos for existing players:
Monthly Contest – A $15K prize pool wagering tournament with a first prize of $3,000 and 50,000 DECOY tokens.
Sniper Race – Open the sniper sidebar, join, and try to catch the target rolls for the chance of winning extra prizes (there’s a video on-site that explains it all).
DD Club – Claim Daily Rakeback of up to 2.5%, a cash bonus on Fridays, a special bonus on the 7th of every month, and extra crypto from the DuckDice faucet.

The DuckDice VIP Club offers members various perks, including lossback bonuses, special VIP bonuses, profile customization options, “ninja features”, stealth mode, exclusive promo codes, and higher faucet rewards.
Players are automatically enrolled in the DuckDice.io VIP Club when they reach level 40 – which requires a total of US$50K to have been wagered. Alternatively, the platform will often allow you to transfer your VIP status from another online casino (contact support for info).
Unfortunately, like so many things at DuckDice.io – the UX surrounding the loyalty program and VIP Club is an unholy mess. Seriously, what the hell are “paws?” And don’t ducks have feet, not paws anyway?
Really, trying to find clear information here is a nightmare.

Navigation, layout, and performance

Gameplay and usability on mobile
Like most crypto gambling platforms, DuckDice.io appears to offer 24/7 customer support via live chat. But, at least at the time of writing this DuckDice review, it wasn’t working. Luckily, you can contact the casino via email at support [at] duckdice [dot] io instead.
There’s also a DuckDice Help Center, with plenty of guides, articles, and news updates. However, the way the articles are written is, well, let’s say “abrasive.” Again, this place feels like it was created by angry teens.

In terms of social media, you can connect with and follow DuckDice casino on Bitcoin Forum, X (Twitter), Facebook, Telegram, and Discord – though none of them seem very active.
DuckDice.io has a native token built on the BNB Chain (BEP20). It’s called Decoy Token (DECOY), and the total emission is 10 billion. 50% of that total is allocated for mining, 25% for the development team, 9% for bonuses, 6% for promos, 5% for farming, and 5% for referrals.
DECOY can be mined by playing Dice and staked to generate a passive income (APY advertised as up to 171%). At the time of writing this DuckDice review, there were 7,629 token holders, 532,726,004 staked, and $517,412 in revenue had been shared. The token price? At the time of writing, “$0.01260”.
However, DECOY does not seem to be tradable anywhere off-site. No DEX or CEX supports it, and the last official update (on the DuckDice forum) is from September 2024. Then nothing…
The future doesn’t look bright for DECOY.

If you’re a regular here at CoinBets, you’ll know I don’t pull any punches, so I’m going to be brutally honest.
DuckDice is absolutely one of the lamest crypto gambling platforms I’ve ever tried. Really, going to the dentist is more fun. Everything feels clunky, awkward, and poorly thought through. Finding information is beyond frustrating, and the tone of communications is borderline insulting. And that’s before you factor in that the games are about as much fun as watching paint dry.
One bright area is responsible gambling. Surprisingly, DuckDice does provide easy-to-use safer gambling tools, allowing you to set a loss limit, wager limit, and game session limit, or self-exclude entirely. There’s also the usual information page linked from the footer, which contains links to problem gambling resources. Credit where credit is due, this is very good to see.

In addition to English, DuckDice casino is also available in the following languages:
Languages
The DuckDice app is available for iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS. It’s billed as offering instant loading, notifications, and one-tap access. You can install the mobile app for free from the DuckDice.io website (scroll down on the left-side menu).
However, you don’t need to install the app – the website is optimized for mobile browsers and runs smoothly on smartphones and tablets.

Sabant B.V. also operates Tower.bet – a more conventional crypto casino that also offers slots and live dealer games from third-party providers.

Right, so we’ve seen what DuckDice offers in terms of product (i.e., not much), but what kind of reputation does it have with players? In truth, it’s hard to know. Affiliate review sites can’t be trusted, and even platforms like Trustpilot lost their credibility a long time ago after being flooded with fake reviews.

DuckDice
| An OG provably fair platform, DuckDice is still going, but with just a couple of basic games, is it now paddling out of its depth? |
Verdict
Okay, so what’s my overall impression of DuckDice casino? In truth, it’s barely a casino. Really, it’s a casual dice game platform with a sportsbook bolted on. So, if you’re a huge fan of simple dice games, then it might be worth trying, but for anyone else, it’s going to get boring really fast.
As for the tokenization and other features? Well, the lottery seems to be AWOL, and the DECOY token? Erm… crickets. It’s not tradable and there hasn’t been any clear news for ages, so I don’t really think it’s got a future. Just another utility token that seemed exciting a few years ago, but now looks like a total lemon. And fairness? Again, any kind of provably fair system was novel in 2016, but today, DuckDice’s verification system looks like a joke.
The rest of it? Well, DuckDice may have been licensed in Curacao under the previous regime, but it clearly can’t comply with the new, more stringent rules. Which begs the question, how is it still operating from Curacao if it’s not licensed there, or is it really operating from Cyprus? Then there’s the clunky, amateurish user experience. Critical information is missing or difficult to find, badly written copy – the whole place feels like it was thrown together by a bunch of teenagers ten years ago – who’ve since grown up and all but abandoned it.
Basically, I can see why DuckDice used to have a certain novelty value, but in 2025, it looks like a sketchy mess that offers virtually nothing.
But that’s just what I think. Have you played at DuckDice recently? Why not write a CoinBets review and share your thoughts with the player community – it really helps people make informed choices.
Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay safe, have fun, and may the RTP be on your side!
