Is Bets the easy way to the moon, or will it make you crash and burn?
Touting itself as the “Easy Way to the Moon,” Bets entered the crypto gambling scene in 2021. Today it offers more than 10,000 casino games, sports and esports betting, plus a crypto lottery. Recently, the brand elevated its profile by sponsoring UFC star Michael ‘Venom’ Page, and is currently proving particularly popular with players in Latin America.
In this original CoinBets review, I’ll be exploring the Bets casino to find out exactly what it offers and if it’s worth trying. In particular, I’ll pay close attention to the welcome bonus, crypto support, games catalog, loyalty program, user experience, and reputation.
So, for a completely impartial, honest take on the Bets crypto casino, keep on reading.

So, first things first, let’s check out this platform’s credentials:
Bets casino is operated by TESSERA LIMITED S.R.L. (company registration number: 3-102-913501) and is based in San Jose, Costa Rica. It is licensed in Anjouan (ALSI-202410047-F12).
The site connection is secure and the security certificate is valid
At the time of creating this Bets review, new players could take advantage of a multi-part welcome package:
First deposit bonus of 100% up to 1 BTC / 30,000 USDT + 100 Free Spins for Bigger Bass Splash (Bonus Code: BETSFTD)
Second deposit bonus of 75% up to 1,000 USDT + 75 Free Spins for Big Bass Return to the Races (Bonus Code: BETS75).
Third Deposit Bonus of 50% up to 500 USDT + 50 Free Spins for Escape the Pyramid – Fire & Ice (Bonus Code: BETS50).
The minimum deposit required is 0.00025 BTC / 0.04 BCH / 0.2 LTC / 53 DOG / 9 XRP / 0.005 ETH / 20 USDT / 20 ADA / 0.03 BNB / 105 TRX / 20 USDC / 0.1 SOL. The maximum bet while using bonus funds is 0.00002 BTC / 0.004 BCH / 0.02 LTC / 5 DOG / 1 XRP / 0.0006 ETH / 2 USDT / 2 ADA / 0.003 BNB / 10 TRX / 2 USDC / 0.01 SOL / 2 EUR / 2 USD / 3 CAD / 24 NOK / 234 RUB / 326 JPY / 13 BRL / 4 NZD.
All bonuses are subject to a 40x wagering requirement (deposit bonus and winnings from free spins). Bonuses are valid for 7 days and game weighting applies to wagering. Playing slots contributes 100%, but playing table games, live games, lottery, and other games will contribute just 5% to bonus wagering. Other terms and conditions also apply.
All things considered, this is a pretty typical crypto casino welcome package. 40x wagering is about average, but you should do the math and make sure you can afford to meet them, or you’ll risk forfeiting your funds. On the plus side, Bets casino is transparent, providing clear, easy-to-find terms and conditions.
Oh, and make sure you use the bonus codes — the Bets bonuses aren’t added automatically!

Getting started at Bets is quick and easy, although there are only two sign-up options.
Enter your email address and choose a strong password. Check the box to confirm you have read and understood the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Then click “Sign Up”.

Payments
Bets supports hundreds of cryptocurrencies for deposits and withdrawals. But whichever you use, make sure you employ effective strategies to mitigate the risks of market volatility.
Crypto Deposits & Withdrawals:
To make a crypto deposit, click the green “Deposit” tab, then select your desired cryptocurrency and network (if applicable). You will be provided with a deposit address in both QR code and alphanumeric formats. The minimum deposit without network fees will be stated under the address. Note: If you have a bonus code, make sure to enter it and activate it before making the deposit.

To withdraw crypto, navigate to your wallet, select “Withdraw”, and then select the appropriate cryptocurrency and network (if applicable). Enter your destination wallet address, and then the amount you would like to withdraw. The minimum withdrawal for the specific crypto will be displayed in green. Double-check everything, and if it’s all good, click the green “Confirm” tab.

CoinBets.com Tip: Always double-check crypto wallet addresses after pasting them – you don’t want to fall victim to ‘PasteJacking’. This is when hackers exploit the copy-paste function to change wallet addresses to steal funds.
Buying Crypto
In common with the best crypto casinos, Bets allows you to purchase crypto using fiat currencies via MoonPay. Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, and Paysafecard. To purchase crypto, go to your wallet and click “Buy Crypto”. Choose the crypto and how much you want, and then click “Buy via MoonPay” and follow the prompts to complete the transaction.

Game Selection
As previously mentioned, Bets boasts more than 10,000 casino games of all types — easily up there with the biggest crypto casinos in terms of sheer choice. You’ll find titles from over 100 providers, ranging from AAA studios like Pragmatic Play, Evolution, and NoLimit City to smaller brands like ELK, 1×2 Gaming, and Gaming Corps.

Unsurprisingly, slots dominate the games portfolio at Bets, with a vast choice available to suit every possible taste. At the time of writing this Bets casino review, the most popular slots included Gates of Olympus 1000 from Pragmatic Play, Snoop Dogg Dollars from BGaming, Tombstone Slaughter from NoLimit City, Wanted Dead or a Wild from Hacksaw, and 3 Hot Chillies from 3oaks.
If you want to boost your chances of winning big, Bets has a dedicated category for Bonus Buy Slots. Almost 3,000 Feature Buy titles are available, including games like Buffalo Gold Canyon from Gamebeat, Pho Sho from BSG, and Lucky Apocalypse from Yggdrasil.
Unfortunately, there’s no category for Megaways slots or progressive jackpot slots, so you’ll need to use the search function, which isn’t ideal.

Snoop Dogg Dollars (BGaming)

You’ve probably seen Snoop Dogg acting as a brand ambassador for Roobet, but did you know he’s also made a slot with BGaming? Well, he has, it’s called Snoop Dogg Dollars, and it’s pretty good. As you’d expect given the provider and theme, the graphics and soundtrack are sharp, and it comes fully loaded with features.
First up, you’ve got cell multipliers and special symbols that are revealed after random clusters explode. Next, there’s sticky wilds with multipliers, a weed symbol that upgrades all multipliers, and a skull symbol that gets rid of all low symbols. And finally, there are scatters that trigger free spins and then become x10 cells or sticky wilds. The maximum win is 10,000x your bet, and the overall theoretical RTP is 96%.
There are Buy Bonus options available, but when I played, I kept things real by placing 100 x $1 bets. And, it all went pretty damn well. After betting 100 bucks (well, USDT), I’d won $187.31 – including $109.16 in a single bet. So, that’s a real RTP of 187.31% – not too bad!

Whaleverse Wilds (Gamebeat)

This Bets-branded slot from Gamebeat was being heavily promoted, so I figured I’d give it a try (despite the crypto whale character looking positively nightmarish -I think it’s the gold lower jaw). Still, Whaleverse Wilds is well-produced and packs features like free spins with walking wilds, expanding wilds that collect money symbols, and the option to double your winnings by gambling.
I played $100 as 50 x $2 bets, and despite triggering free spins, ended up $2.80 down, giving a real RTP of 97.2% – a little higher than the theoretical 94.14%. Overall, I’d say this Bets exclusive slot is worth trying – but with a maximum win limited to just 5,000 x your bet, and a relatively low RTP, I don’t think it’s going to become anyone’s favorite.

Thankfully, Bets provides a dedicated category for instant wins. See, if this casino can do it, why can’t others (Rainbet et al, take note).
In total, there are over 110 instant games available, including provably fair crash games like Aviator and Balloon from Spribe, plus hits like F777 Fighter from OnlyPlay and Limbo Rider from Turbo Games. You’ll also find a decent selection of Mines, Plinko, HiLo, and other popular classics.

With close to 1,000 live games available, the Bets live casino isn’t short on choice. Along with games from Pragmatic Live and Evolution, you’ll find tables from 7Mojos, Absolute Live Gaming, Copacabana Games, Elcasino, ICONIC21, Live88, TVBet, Winfinity, and Winspinity.
However, despite the impressive choice of games, Bets hasn’t seen fit to provide categories within the live casino, so you’ll need to use the search function to sort games by type. Even so, whether it’s live dealer blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, or a live game show, you’ll find plenty of games to choose from.

Unusually for a contemporary crypto casino, Bets has a category for table games. With less than 50 titles available, it’s not that big, but it still makes finding RNG (Random Number Generator) based table games far easier. Titles available include Multihand Blackjack, American Roulette, and Caribbean Club Poker from Platipus, Blackjack Neo from Relax, and European Roulette from Belatra.

While there’s no dedicated bingo category at Bets, a search delivers a dozen or so video bingo games. These include Greek Fortunes: Bingo Bounty from NetGame, Elf Bingo from TaDa Gaming, and Viking Runecraft Bingo from Play’n GO.
There are also a few video keno titles like Super Keno from KA Gaming and Russian Keno from Smartsoft.

In addition to various provably fair games from third-party providers in the Instant Games category, Bets also offers a range of “originals.”
However, they aren’t really original in-house games at all, but rather custom-branded games from InOut Games. For example, you’ll find some of the exact same games, like Avia Fly, Diver, and Chicken Road, at other crypto casinos like CryptoLeo.
Although it’s a bit misleading to bill these games as “Bets Originals”, at least there’s a decent range of games available. In addition to the previously mentioned titles, they include Wheel, Goblin Tower, Robo Dice, Hi Lo Joker, and Bubbles.

As always, I set myself a CoinBets Challenge as part of this review. Specifically, I decided to bet 500 USDT on the “original” Bets provably fair CoinFlip game — on heads only. Yep, just 100 x $5 bets on heads. I chose the instant game rather than the multiplier version, so it’s super simple, with any win delivering $9.69.
So, what happened? Drumroll…
Well, nothing too exciting. After betting $500 worth of USDT, I’d won $485 back, which equates to a real RTP of 97%. That’s exactly the same as the official RTP provided by InOut. Like I said, nothing exciting. Still, I guess this game really does do exactly “what it says on the tin.”

Complementing the Bets casino is the Bets sportsbook. Traditional and in-play betting is offered on sports including soccer, water polo, tennis, basketball, volleyball, handball, ice hockey, and many more.
Esports betting is also available on disciplines including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, King of Glory, and Valorant.

Rewards, rakeback, and VIP perks
In addition to the Bets casino welcome bonus, a choice of promo offers is also available for existing players. At the time of writing this review, they included the following:
Weekend Reload Bonus – 75% reload bonus plus 75 free spins on your weekend deposit. Deposit at least 50 USDT from Friday (00.00 UTC) to Sunday (23:59 UTC) and use code “RELOAD”. Subject to 40x wagering requirement.
Seasonal Promos – At the time of writing, the casino was running a Halloween raffle.
Tournaments – Various slot tournaments with prize pools typically around 5,000 USDT.

Unusually, Bets doesn’t promote a distinct loyalty program. However, it does offer daily cashback of up to 10%. The cashback rate is determined by your deposits from the previous day (00:00 – 23:59 UTC).
Up to 1,999 USDT, get 5% cashback
2,000 – 3,999 USDT, get 6%
4,000 – 5,999 USDT, get 7%
6,000 – 9,999 USDT, get 8%
10,000 – 19,999 USDT, get 9%
Over 20,000 USDT, get 10% (max. 10,000 USDT or equivalent)
The minimum deposit and minimum loss to qualify is 20 USD / 0.00025 BTC / 0.04 BCH / 0.2 LTC / 53 DOGE / 9 XRP / 0.005 ETH / 20 ADA / 0.03 BNB / 105 TRX / 20 USDC / 0.1 SOL.
Cashback is subject to a 3x wagering requirement and a valid for “3 days from its receipt and 7 days after its activation.” Game weighting applies to wagering — only slots contribute 100%, all others, including table games, live games, and lottery, contribute just 5% to bonus wagering.
Likewise, there’s no page promoting a Bets VIP club; however, there is an article about a VIP program in the knowledge base. It says that VIP status is given to any player who makes a one-time deposit of 500 USDT or reaches a total deposit sum of 500 USDT. And, if you’re thinking that’s incredibly low as a VIP threshold, well, it is.
So, what VIP perks can you expect at Bet.io? Well, you get 24/7 “personalized” email, Whatsapp and Telegram support, and a dedicated account manager (who can even solve “personal issues”, apparently).
Oh, and if you deposit more than 50,000 USDT in a week, you’ll qualify for 20% weekly cashback. Beyond that, it seems you can expect more no-deposit bonuses, free spins, deposit bonuses, and priority payouts. It’s just very odd that the VIP program isn’t promoted more visibly.
Bets Lottery
Until recently, Bets.io was also running an in-house crypto lottery. Tickets are given for free when you deposit.
- Deposit 2,500 USDT and get 1 ticket for every 7 USDT
- Deposit 1,700 USDT and get 1 ticket for every 10 USDT
- Deposit 1,000 USDT and get 1 ticket for every 12 USDT
- Deposit 600 USDT and get 1 ticket for every 15 USDT
- Deposit 100 USDT and get 1 ticket for every 17 USDT
- Deposit 45 USDT and get 1 ticket for every 20 USDT
At the time of writing, prizes ranged from 500 USDT to 10 USDT.

Bets customer support is available 24/7 via live chat. If you’d rather email, you can use the contact form or send a message directly to support [at] bets [dot] io.

You can connect with Bets via social media platforms including Telegram, Instagram, X (Twitter), Discord, YouTube, Steemit, and BitcoinTalk.

What can I say? Bets looks and feels like most crypto casinos. It’s easy to sign up, manage crypto transactions, and find most things, but it’s not exactly groundbreaking. In terms of organization, it’s great to see instant games and table games get their own categories, but there’s still a lack of search filters.
However, of more concern is the complete lack of responsible gambling resources (despite some affiliate reviews saying otherwise). While there is a page, linked from the footer, that pays lip service to the issue, there are no safer gambling tools or any real educational resources.
Also, over the course of two days, I found that Bets was completely inaccessible several times, suggesting that the platform isn’t the most reliable.
In addition to English, Bets is also available in:
Languages
A Bets mobile app is available, but it can only be downloaded directly from the website, and no information is provided about it, so I wouldn’t recommend installing it. The main website is mobile-optimized and runs fine on mobile browsers.
As mentioned in the introduction, Bets has a sponsorship deal with “emerging UFC legend” Michael ‘Venom’ Page. As of late 2024, Page, who hails from London, was ranked #15 in the UFC welterweight rankings, and it has to be said, Bets makes a very big deal about the partnership.
Yep, despite not having a page for its VIP club, this casino does have a whole page, prominently linked from the main menu, dedicated to this sponsorship. I guess they forked out a lot of money!

Ooookay, are you sitting comfortably? Let’s tackle Bets’s reputation. First, let’s check the platform’s ratings on a few popular casino review sites:
| Platform | Overall Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2.9 Average | (based on 629 reviews) |
![]() | Overall: 3.6/10 | Safety Index: Low |
![]() | CasinoRank: 8 Very Good | Player Rating: 8.9 (127 reviews) |

Now, if you’re a CoinBets regular, you’ll know I always caution against taking online casino reviews at face value — most are created by affiliates with financial interests in promoting casinos. But, in the case of Bets, I feel going into more detail is warranted. Why? Well, the Terms and Conditions at Bets are concerning, particularly the platform’s anti-fraud policy. Especially point 6, which reads as follows:
“At its absolute discretion, the casino reserves the right, without any obligation and without specifying the reason or providing prior notice, to close your player account, cancel winnings, confiscate deposits, and demand compensation from the player for any damage caused if there are suspicions or evidence of manipulating the casino system, using prohibited gaming strategies, or colluding with other individuals. Criminal charges will be filed against any user or any other person(s) who manipulated the casino system or attempted to do so. The casino reserves the right to terminate and/or modify any games or events offered on the website.”

Additionally, like most crypto gambling platforms, Bits.io has a list of prohibited countries, which includes Belgium, Russia, Ukraine, and the United States. The platform also prohibits the use of VPNs (Virtual Private Networks). However, the small print also reads:
“We reserve the right to change the list of restricted countries at our sole and absolute discretion and without forewarning. All such changes will be published on the Website. The Casino cannot guarantee successful processing of withdrawals or refunds in the event that player breaches this Restricted Countries policy.”
There are a significant number of negative reviews on Trustpilot claiming that Bets deliberately lets people sign up and deposit, but refuses to pay out and confiscates funds, using this policy as an excuse. Of course, according to the T&Cs, technically they do have the right to do this. But, given the fact that the platform is based in Costa Rica and has an Anjouan license, it’s practically impossible for players to contest decisions, so this could be an intentional strategy.
Furthermore, while testing Bets I noticed the language settings change several times without my input. Specifically, they changed to German (though, at the same time, the “Deposit” tab actually changed to Chinese!). Curious, I checked my sessions and they all showed as a German IP address. This, despite the fact that I was accessing the site from Malta (not on the prohibited list) and not using a VPN.
I don’t see how Bets can justify not paying players based on their location, if they can’t even detect the correct geographical location of a player in the first place.

Bets.io
Bets offers strong crypto support, a huge game library, and decent variety, but red flags in its terms, geolocation issues, and player complaints mean it’s best approached with caution.
Verdict
Right, so what’s the overall impression of Bets? Well, this crypto casino certainly offers plenty of choice, both in terms of crypto support and the sheer number of games and providers available. Also, the portfolio is well-balanced, with lots of slots, but also a good live casino and plenty of instant wins. However, it’s a bit cheeky to pass off branded games as “originals” – but Bets is by no means the only crypto casino to do this. For example, some of the same games are also billed as “originals” at Rainbet.
In terms of the welcome offer, promotions, loyalty rewards, and VIP scheme, things are so-so. The wagering isn’t great, but the jackpots and lottery add some extra depth, and the terms and conditions are readily available. Again, the lack of VIP club promotion is strange, and I’m not entirely sure what to make of it.
However, the Bets terms and conditions and possible geolocation issues do throw up some serious red flags. These, coupled with some of the seemingly related complaints from players, make me feel very uneasy about recommending this crypto casino and sportsbook.
So, that’s what I think, but what about you? Have you played at Bets? If so, why not write a CoinBets review and share your thoughts with the community?
Thanks for reading, and until next time, good luck!
