Lucky Block Review

Read Expert Review

Launched in 2022, Lucky Block is arguably one of the most controversial names in the crypto casino space. Much of that attention stems from its native LBLOCK token and the platform’s ties to some highly questionable marketing firms. Still, it’s clearly drawing interest – at the time of writing, Lucky Block was attracting around 275,000 monthly visits, with the majority coming from canada.

So, what exactly does Lucky Block offer, and what makes this crypto casino so divisive? Read the no holds barred, 100% objective CoinBets review to find out.

  • Bonus releases only 10% after 6x deposit wagering (60x effective)

  • Connected to Finixio, a shady marketing firm with scam history

  • In-house originals are not provably fair, despite crypto branding

  • Previously Curacao, then Anjouan, now unlicensed - highly concerning shift

Token Issues, Dubious Operator… But Lots of Games

Established in 2022, Lucky Block is probably one of today’s most controversial crypto casinos. This is largely due to its LBLOCK crypto token and the platform’s relationship with highly questionable marketing companies. At the time of writing, Lucky Block was attracting around 170,000 visitors per month, mostly from India (according to ahrefs).

In this original CoinBets review of Lucky Block, I’ll be taking a close look at the state of the casino platform today. As always, I’ll deposit and wager real crypto for an authentic experience. Plus, I’ll pay particular attention to the welcome bonus, payment options, games catalog, VIP and loyalty programs, and the LBLOCK token.

So, is Lucky Block legit after all, or should you steer clear of this casino? Grab a coffee and get comfortable, because this is going to be interesting!

License and Security

Casino credentials and player protection

First, let’s see who actually owns and operates Lucky Block.

image description

LuckyBlock was formerly operated by Igloo Ventures SRL, registered in Costa Rica (reg. no. 3-102-880024). As of late 2025, it was being operated by Atlantis Interactive SRL, also registered in Costa Rica (reg. no. 3-102-858389). It is currently not licensed with any gambling regulatory body.

Welcome Bonus

Bonus size, terms, and fairness

At the time of writing this Lucky Block casino review, new players could apparently take advantage of a “200% Welcome Bonus up to €25,000 + 50 Free Spins.” Okay, on the surface, that sounds impressive. But let’s take a closer look.

Okay, so the first thing to note there is that the welcome bonus is released as you wager. Specifically, 10% of the bonus is released every time you wager 6x your initial deposit. For example, if you deposit €100, you’ll get €20 of bonus released every time you wager €600. Additionally, any new player depositing €20 or more gets 50 Free Spins on Wanted Dead or a Wild.

Doesn’t sound so impressive any more, right? Of course, Lucky Block point out it’s paid as “cash” – well, whoopy doo! I should hope so, because you’ve already wagered 30x the bonus amount! Of course, you could argue that releasing a bonus this way is more responsible than paying the whole amount in one go, because you don’t put as much pressure on people to complete wagering. But, on the flip side, this format also makes the bonus seem far more generous than it really is.

Urgghh… all of these bonuses annoy me. Casinos should just be straight up, honest, and offer reasonable bonuses with realistic wagering (I rarely agree with the UKGC, but I think their incoming 10x wagering requirement cap strikes a good balance). So, overall, while the Lucky Block welcome bonus is potentially valuable, to get the full €25,000 bonus, you’ll need to deposit €12,500 and wager €75,000.

Credit where credit is due, though, Lucky Block does provide clear, readily accessible terms and conditions.

In common with the best crypto casinos, LuckyBlock allows you to easily purchase crypto using fiat methods like Visa and Mastercard. In this case, it is via an integration with the Changelly crypto exchange.

Simply go to your wallet and select “Buy Crypto” (there’s also a link in the main navigation menu). Then enter how much of which crypto you want, agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and click “Buy Instantly”. Then follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

Game Selection

At the time of creating this Lucky Block crypto casino review, the platform offered over 4,000 casino games from almost 80 providers. While this isn’t the biggest choice – for example, Bets.io has over 10,000 – it’s about average for a mid-sized crypto casino. Unfortunately, browsing games isn’t the best experience due to a distinct lack of useful categories and filters.

  • Slots
    Game variety
  • Crash & Instant Wins
    Fast gameplay
  • Live Casino
    Dealer quality
  • Table Games and Video Poker
    Classic tables
  • Bingo
    Casual games

Slots

Game variety

So, the slots category at Lucky Block is, well, basic. There’s literally just a category called “Slots”, and a search function. There are a few categories accessible from the casino lobby, but not from the navigation menus or the actual “Slots” category. So, browsing feels clunky and frustrating. Still, there is a decent choice, with popular hits like Book of Dead from Play’n GO, Sugar Rush 1000 from Pragmatic Play, and Le Bandit from Hacksaw.

Given they have “Megaways” in the titles, Megaways slots are easy enough to find via search, with over 100 on offer. This includes titles like Duel of the Dead Megaways from Kalamba, Napoleon Megaways from Blueprint Gaming, and Buddha Megaways from 3 Oaks.

Jackpot slots can be trickier as they don’t always have the word in the title — still, you will find around 100 results. If you’re after the biggest progressive jackpots, you’ll also find a couple of Mega Moolah slots from Games Global (Microgaming).

image description

CoinBets Experience

Money Train 4 (Relax Gaming)

The first 3 slots in the Money Train series were a huge success for Relax Gaming, and the latest installment seems set to follow suit.

Here, the action takes on a distinctly science fiction feel – it’s still got a Western vibe, but this desert definitely ain’t on Earth! In fact, the visual details have quite a touch of Terminator to them.

As for the gameplay, it features respins, the famous Money Cart bonus round, and the potential to win up to 150,000x your bet. Those with deeper pockets can opt to buy bonuses too.

So, how did I get on? Well, not so hot to be honest. After betting $50, I’d only managed to haul in $10.85 – giving a real RTP of just 21.7%, as opposed to the theoretical game RTP of 96.10%. But, in fairness, Money Train slots are highly volatile, so you really have to hang in there for the Money Cart bonus rounds to bring home those wins. And that can take nerves of steel and a hefty bankroll!

Crash & Instant Wins

Fast gameplay

To find provably fair crash and other instant-win games, like Plinko, Dice, and Towers, you can select “Crypto Games” or go back to the main casino lobby and scroll down to find the “Crash” category.

There’s a decent selection from providers like Spribe, Turbo Games, and OnlyPlay. However, for other types of games, for example, scratch cards from providers like Hacksaw and BGaming, you’ll need to use the search function.

Live Casino

Dealer quality

Thankfully, Lucky Block has put a bit more effort into its live casino. Here’s you’ll find separate categories for Blackjack, Roulette, Game Shows, Baccarat, and Poker.

The bulk of the live dealer games are provided by Pragmatic Play Live, with more from Live88, BetGames TV, and Iconic21 — although, rather surprisingly, there are no Evolution live games on offer. This means the line-up of game shows in particular is limited — though you’ll still find hits like Mega Wheel, Sweet Bonanza Candyland, and Snakes & Ladders Live.

Table Games and Video Poker

Classic tables

To find the RNG (Random Number Generator) based table games at Lucky Block, you’ll need to go to the Live Casino section — then select the appropriate game category from there. Even then, the choice is very limited, with just a handful of games, like Perfect Strategy Blackjack from Microgaming, European Roulette VIP from Spinomenal, and High Hand Holdem Poker from OneTouch.

Bingo

Casual games

The video bingo and keno lineup at Lucky Block is actually pretty good, with over 60 of the former and 18 of the latter available — but again, you’ll need to use the search function. Specific titles available include Bingo Bruxaria and Bingo Royale from Caleta Gaming, Keno Party from Mascot Gaming, and Keno Deluxe from Realistic.

Provably Fair Games

Testing transparency and randomness

There are just 5 original games at LuckyBlock (Plinko, Crash, Dice, Mines, and Hi-Lo), and despite what you’d expect, they don’t appear to be provably fair. However, there are some provably fair games from third-party providers like Spribe and BGaming — as previously mentioned, you’ll find them in the “Crypto Games” section.

If you’d like to learn more about provably fair gaming, you can check out the CoinBets guide to provably fair gaming and casinos.

CoinBets Experience

Mines (Lucky Block)

With only 5 LuckyBlock originals to choose from, I decided to check out Mines. Now, I can’t lie, it’s not exactly the most inspiring game ever – but then, that applies to most crypto casino original titles. So, I decided to spice things up with a strategy of sorts.

Specifically, I decided to increase the number of mines each time I won, and decrease when I lost.

Now, I was betting low at just $0.50 per round, and started with 5 mines. To be honest, I expected to end up playing with at least 9 or 10 mines on the 10×10 grid at some point. Instead, the losses kept coming, and most of the time my strategy meant I was stuck with just 1 or 2 mines, leading to very low wins.

Overall, after betting $25.50, I’d only managed to win $22.51, giving a real RTP of 88%.

I’d assume that’s probably close to the official rate, but unfortunately, Lucky Block doesn’t provide any information about the game. Also, despite appearing to be a provably fair game at first glance, I couldn’t find any provably fair results or settings.

CoinBets Challenge: 50 Pints at the Pub

Our real-money gameplay results

Normally, I’d pick one of the in-house original games for the CoinBets Challenge, but at Lucky Block, the choice is less than inspiring, so I opted for something different. Specifically, October Pub from Evoplay.

The premise of the game is simple: you’re at a bar and can line up between one and five pint glasses. You place a bet and then pull the tap. If the beer reaches one of the marked multipliers, which can reach 100x your bet, you win. Like I said, simple.

For this challenge, I decided to buy a round of 50 pints — I mean, at $/€1 per pint, who wouldn’t buy drinks for the whole pub! The aim was simple — to see if I could walk away with more money than I arrived with. You know, like when you leave the pub in the early hours and then find cash stuck in your socks the next morning, with no idea how it got there. What, it hasn’t happened to you?

Anyways, I lined up 5 glasses at a time, and bet the $50… but only managed to win $47.01 back, giving a real RTP of 94% compared to the theoretical RTP of 96%. Even so, I enjoyed this game — it’s refreshingly different (if you’ll forgive the pun).

Sportsbook

Alongside casino games, LuckyBlock also offers sports betting. Standard and live betting are available on a wide range of traditional sports, including soccer, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, baseball, and cricket. Esports betting is also offered on disciplines including Counter-Strike, FIFA, League of Legends, NBA 2K, and Valorant.

Lucky Block provides 24/7 player support via live chat, though you can also email help [at] luckyblock [dot] com. The Lucky Block bot can also answer most common queries relating to things like deposits and withdrawals, bonuses, gameplay issues, etc.

You’ll also find tips, strategy guides, and news articles at The Lucky Blog, which seems to be updated regularly. Additionally, you can connect with Lucky Block via social media platforms including YouTube, Discord, Instagram, Telegram, and X (Twitter).

Crypto Token and Tokenomics

Game Tokenomics

By wagering using the LBLOCK V2 token, you can earn 15% cashback on your weekly net losses. Sounds okay, right? But, before you convert any crypto to LBLOCK, you should be aware of a few things.

Okay, to figure out what exactly is happening with the LBLOCK token today, we need to look at the trajectory of the Lucky Block project since it launched in 2022.

You see, initially, the Lucky Block project was centered around an online lottery rather than a casino, and used a token called LBLOCK. In fact, the Lucky Bridge site still references “a worldwide lottery with players using blockchain protocols.”

Despite lots of hype drawing in initial investors, the project soon ran into problems. In a nutshell, LBLOCK included a 12% sales tax, which the centralized crypto exchanges refused to play ball with.

This led to the launch of LBLOCK V2 — an ERC-20 token with no sales tax — and the entire LuckyBlock project ditching the lottery plans for a more traditional crypto casino business model. Even so, only three platforms currently support the second version of the token; DeFi protocol Uniswap, and centralized exchanges Gate.io and MEXC Global.

Needless to say, this caused quite a lot of resentment among investors, many of whom started questioning the way the entire business was being run. Particular concerns were raised about the marketing of Lucky Block and the LBLOCK token, which had been nothing if not aggressive.

Indeed, Lucky Block was being heavily promoted by UK-based marketing company Finixio. This outfit (which has since relocated to Malta and morphed into “Clickout Media”) is well known for controversial practices. For example, buying existing popular websites, and then replacing much of their legit content with spammy clickbait promoting highly questionable gambling, crypto, and financial products.

The company has even been caught using illegal deepfakes of famous celebs to promote its schemes. And, guess who the Head of Business Development at Finixio was? A certain Scott Ryder — who also happens to be Founder and CEO of Lucky Block!

Hmmm… nothing suspicious there then.

Anymahooos, unsurprisingly, the LBLOCK token, even in its revised V2 form, has been badly impacted by these revelations.

Indeed, according to CoinGecko, on February 18, 2022, the price of LBLOCK was $0.009746, with a market cap of nearly $8m. But by the time of writing in early April 2025, it was essentially worthless, with a market cap of less than $1,000. As for LBLOCK V2? Well, it was doing better, but not great — according to CoinMarketCap, the price was $0.000011, down from an all-time high of $0.0025, and the volume traded over the past 24 hours was less than $500.

So, yes, you can earn some cashback, and even stake your $LBLOCK at Lucky Block for a quoted 15% APY, but it’s probably best to avoid this crypto token like the plague. To put things in perspective, at the time of writing, the US dollar amount of LBLOCK staked on the platform was less than $8,000. It’s essentially on par with a Pump.fun memecoin at this point.

For a more detailed take on casino tokens, check out the CoinBets guide to tokenomics in gambling.

User Experience & Website Design

Navigation, layout, and performance

In terms of aesthetics, Lucky Block looks very similar to most of today’s crypto casinos. The main gripe I have is the lack of easily accessible game categories and filters. Yes, there are some categories and filters, but they are very clunky to use. Being able to easily sort and browse games by feature and theme would significantly improve the user experience.

Other issues include a complete absence of responsible gambling tools and a tendency for the site itself to run extremely slowly and crash. Overall, Lucky Block delivered a poor user experience.

In addition to English, Lucky Block is also available in the following languages:

Languages
English
Dutch
Spanish
German
French
Russian
Turkish
Portuguese
Italian
Polish

Mobile apps

Gameplay and usability on mobile

Lucky Block doesn’t offer a standard mobile app for Android or iOS devices, however, the web platform is optimized to run smoothly on mobile browsers. Additionally, Lucky Block does offer a Telegram casino, which can be enjoyed via the Telegram app.

Other Interesting Facts

As previously mentioned, early on, Lucky Block was spending significant sums on high profile marketing campaigns. For example, sponsoring heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte — even flying him to his training camp on a private jet!

The platform also sponsored boxer Florian Marku and launched a YouTube podcast channel called Fighting on the Inside, with Jamie Jewitte of Love Island fame. However, at the time of writing this review, although the podcast hosted by Jewitte does exist, there’s no reference to Lucky Block anywhere.

Overall Reputation

So, as we’ve seen, on the surface, LuckyBlock seems to offer a fairly solid crypto casino and sportsbook product, complete with its own token ecosystem. But, as we’ve also seen, there are serious questions surrounding those running and promoting it.

The fundamental problem is, given the sprawling marketing efforts of Finixo (aka. ClickOut Media), there’s lots of spurious content out there, including fake reviews and rankings, portraying Lucky Block as legitimate and trustworthy.

As far as I know, the first three sites below aren’t directly connected to Finixio, ClickOut, or Lucky Block – but this doesn’t mean the ratings and reviews should be trusted. Indeed, I strongly suspect that the negative reviews on platforms like Trustpilot paint a more accurate picture.

I’ve included Insidebitcoins.com because there is reason to believe this site is directly connected to Finixio.

CoinbetS Expert Review

Verdict

Lucky Block is a prime example of how any crypto casino can be made to look legit if enough money is thrown at marketing.

Yes, at first glance, it looks like a reasonable crypto casino. But its association with Finixio is a huge red flag and destroys the credibility of any platform promoting it. As for LBLOCK? Well, given Finixio’s history of promoting scam tokens, rugpulls, and ponzi schemes, not to mention the token’s V1/V2 debacle, it’s definitely best avoided.

Is there anything good about LuckyBlock? Well, the terms and conditions are clear and readily available, the games catalog is reasonable, and plenty of cryptos are supported. But these things don’t remotely balance out the reputational and trust issues. So, it’s impossible to recommend Lucky Block. In fact, I’d go as far as strongly suggesting you avoid it.

But that’s just what I think. How about you? Have you played at Lucky Block? If so, why not write a CoinBets review and share your thoughts with the player community?

Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay safe and have fun!

Crypto Casinos: The Truth Behind the Hype

Most crypto casino review platforms and guides are written by affiliates who earn up to 50% of your losses at the casino. They’re financially incentivized to push the casinos that pay them the most, not the ones that treat players fairly. That’s why you’ll rarely see them warn you about slow withdrawals, unfair terms, or dodgy licenses.

CoinBets is different. We don’t take casino money. We deposit and play with our own funds, then report exactly what we find, the good, the bad, and the scams.

Crypto casinos can be fun and convenient, but they’re not all created equal. Licensing quality, withdrawal speed, bonus terms, and game fairness vary wildly from site to site. Some operate under weak offshore regulators with zero player protection. Others bury restrictive terms that can void your winnings. And in the worst cases? Rigged games, frozen accounts, and unpaid withdrawals.

Our goal is simple: help you spot the red flags before you deposit. That’s why our database lists licensing details, RTP info, payment terms, and verified user reviews so you can make an informed decision, not a hopeful gamble.

But we can’t do it alone. We need players like you to help arm CoinBets with a vault of verified reviews. The more real, documented player experiences we have, the easier it is to hold dodgy crypto casinos accountable and warn others before they lose money. If you’ve played, share your story — together we can make the crypto gambling space safer for everyone.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • What makes a crypto casino trustworthy?

A legitimate license from a regulator with actual enforcement power, transparent terms, fast withdrawals, provably fair games, and a clean track record of paying players without drama.

  • Are unlicensed crypto casinos always scams?

Not always, but you’re gambling with zero safety net. If they refuse to pay you, there’s no regulator to step in. That’s why we flag licensing in every review.

  • What’s “provably fair” and why does it matter?

It’s a cryptographic system that lets you verify game results weren’t manipulated. In plain English: you can prove you weren’t cheated. Without it, you’re trusting the casino’s word.

  • Why are bonuses often a bad deal?

Because the fine print can make them nearly impossible to cash out, with wagering requirements, game restrictions, and withdrawal caps. Our database lists these terms so you can spot the traps.

  • How fast should a crypto casino pay out?

Top-tier sites pay within minutes to a few hours. If withdrawals drag on for days without clear reasons, that’s a red flag.

  • How does CoinBets stay unbiased?

We don’t take affiliate deals or casino funding. We play and test with our own crypto, track every interaction, and publish the results – even when casinos hate it.
