Aiming for greatness with Web3 wallets and KYC-free play — but is Goated a hit?
Launched in 2024, Goated casino is one of the newest platforms on the crypto gambling scene. While the games portfolio of this Anjouan-licensed site is still limited, there are plenty of promos, a rewards program, and the promise of a native crypto token.
In this original CoinBets Goated casino review, I’ll be checking out exactly what Goated offers players. I’ll be depositing and wagering real crypto, and paying special attention to bonuses, crypto payments, games, rewards, and the casino’s reputation.
So, is Goated on track to be the greatest of all time, or is it just another white label with a funky name?

- Casino credentials and player protection
- Bonus size, terms, and fairness
- Sign-up speed and steps
First things first, let’s see who’s running the show at Goated.
Goated is operated by Onism Limited, which is registered in Belize (company number 000044399). It is licensed in Anjouan, Union of Comoros (license number ALSI-202411063-FI2).
The site connection is secure and the security certificate is valid

At the time of writing this Goated crypto casino review, the platform didn’t offer a specific welcome bonus for new casino players.
For tips on finding the best welcome packages, check out the CoinBets guide to crypto casino bonuses.
Getting started with Goated crypto casino is quick and easy – with no KYC required on sign-up. Several options are available:
Enter your email address, choose a strong password, verify you’re a hooman being, and click “Register.”
Sign up with Google
Connect a Web3 crypto wallet like Phantom, MetaMask, CoinBase, or hundreds more via WalletConnect.

Prohibited Jurisdictions
Although Goated doesn’t require KYC at sign-up, you may need to verify your identification and address before withdrawing. The casino specifically prohibits VPN use, and if you join from a prohibited jurisdiction, you run the risk of getting your account closed and funds seized.
Under the terms of its Anjouan license, countries including Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United States, the United Kingdom, and many others are classed as prohibited jurisdictions.
For practical advice, check out the CoinBets guide to navigating crypto casino KYC and privacy.
Payments
At the time of writing this Goated review, a modest range of popular cryptocurrencies was supported.
Note that while Goated does offer a “vault” facility, I would strongly advise against leaving large amounts of crypto on any casino platform. Instead withdraw it to your own non-custodial wallet.
Always remember, “not your keys, not your crypto.”

To make a crypto deposit, open your wallet (tap the wallet symbol next to your balance, or access from your profile), and select “Deposit.” Choose your desired currency and network if applicable. You will be provided with your unique deposit wallet address in both text and QR code formats. Alternatively, you can choose to use a connected Web3 wallet.

To withdraw crypto, go to your wallet, select “Withdraw”, and choose your crypto and network. Enter the amount you’d like to withdraw, and paste in your withdrawal address. Fees will be displayed. If it all looks good, tap the yellow “Withdraw” tab. Alternatively, you can choose to use a connected Web3 crypto wallet.

CoinBets.com Tip: Always double-check crypto wallet addresses after pasting them – you don’t want to fall victim to ‘PasteJacking’. This is when hackers exploit the copy-paste function to change wallet addresses to steal funds.
Buying and Exchanging Crypto
Although “Buy Crypto” does appear in the Goated wallet, at the time of writing this review, it wasn’t clickable. I guess the facility will be added soon.
Game Selection
At the time of creating this Goated review, the platform offered around 1,100 casino games from over 35 providers. While this is far fewer than most competitors (by comparison, the last crypto casino I reviewed, Tower.bet, had more than 10,400 games from over 70 providers), Goated was only a year old, so it’s still early days.

- Game variety
- Fast gameplay
- Dealer quality
- Classic tables
- Casual games
As is usually the case at crypto casinos, slots form the bulk of the portfolio — in this case amounting to just over 1,000 titles (yes, I counted). Pragmatic Play titles like Sugar Rush 1000, Gates of Olympus 1000, and Fire Portals were prominently positioned in the lobby, as were games from BGaming, Relax Gaming, and PG Soft. You’ll also find slots from popular providers like Hacksaw Gaming, NoLimit City, Play’n GO, and many more. However, there are many geo-restrictions, so the specific game availability will depend on your location.
One issue I did notice was a complete lack of subcategories and filters. There’s just a “slots” category, search box, and provider menu — that’s it. So, while finding things like Megaways games is easy enough, locating jackpot slots, bonus buys, or games with specific features or themes is frustrating.

Fire Portals (Pragmatic Play)
Released in March 2024, Fire Portals is one of those Pragmatic Play slots that slipped past me. So, when I saw it was one of the hottest slots at Goated, I figured I’d give it a few spins. Now, I must admit, I intended to bet 50 x $1 bets, but accidentally set it for 50 x $2 bets – so, I got quite excited about my wins… until I realized my mistake! Still, never mind.
As for the game itself, it’s a highly volatile but very playable 7×7 cluster affair, with a max win of 10,000x your bet and a theoretical RTP of 96%. Features include the Fire Portal Wild and Free Spins – and the production qualities are high. The theme? Well, erm, “fire portals” – think “Lord of the Rings meets Stargate”.
And how did I get on? Well, after accidentally betting 100 USDT, I won back 97 bucks. Hardly anything to write home about, but at least it was above the official RTP.
Beast Mode (Relax Gaming)
Next, I joined a deranged man-lion in what looked like mid-1990s Venice Beach, playing Beast Mode from Relax Gaming. Despite the odd theme (I couldn’t work out whether the main character was a likable fitness freak or a psychopathic criminal), the game is surprisingly good.
The graphics get the ’90s vibe spot on, and the game has a solid max win of 25,000x your bet. The official RTP is 96.32%, and features include 3 types of Beast Mode Free Spins: Multiplier Ladder Free Spins, Expanding Wild Free Spins, and Mystery Symbols Free Spins.
But despite the nostalgic fun, after betting 50 USDT, I’d only won back 40.70 USDT – equating to a real RTP of just 81.4%. But it is a highly volatile game, so this kind of result is the nature of the beast!
At the time of writing this Goated crypto casino review, there was no dedicated crash, instant win, or casual games category. A search for crash games brought up just Cash or Crash from Evolution — although browsing the slots category, I did notice a few crash games like AviaMasters from BGaming.
Searching “Plinko” delivered a few games from Print Studios, Quickspin, and a Goated original. Scratchcards weren’t available at all. But, on the whole, if crash and instant win-style games are your thing, Goated definitely isn’t the casino for you!
The Goated Live Casino is something of a disappointment. I counted around 50 games — one of the most limited live dealer offerings I’ve seen in a long time. On the plus side, at least the live blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker games that are available are from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live —widely regarded as the industry leaders.

There is a dedicated game shows lobby — something I think every crypto casino should have. In it, you’ll mostly find live game shows like Crazy Time and Mega Ball from Evolution, and Sweet Bonanza Candyland and Mega Wheel from Pragmatic. However, there are also a few of Evolution’s first-person games.
To find RNG (random number generator) based table games at Goated, you’ll need to look in the Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat sections. However, the choice is extremely limited, with just a handful of non-live games. No video poker was available.

At the time of writing this Goated review, the platform offered no video bingo or keno, with the exception of the in-house Keno game.

Goated crypto casino has a fairly impressive range of provably fair in-house original games. Mostly, they are what you’ll find everywhere else – Dice, Keno, Mines, Plinko, HiLo, Limbo, Wheel, Roulette, and Blackjack. But there are some different takes, including Goat Run, G3 Tower, Diamonds, Uno, and G3 Cards.

After failing to beef up my balance with slots, my options for the CoinBets Challenge were looking rather limited. So, I decided to do a straight-up high-risk autobet challenge on Goated’s provably fair in-house tower game, G3 Tower.
Specifically, I placed 50 x 1 USDT bets on a single pattern and set it to “hard”. Then I let her rip.

To be honest, I didn’t really notice the rounds because I was too distracted by the rather lovely animated G3 (the casino’s co-founder, apparently), next to the game grid. Kama Sutra vibes all round.
When I refocused, I realized the rounds had already played. And how much had I won? Well, a big fat zero. Yep, I didn’t hit a single win in the 50 rounds. So, that’s an amazing 0% RTP for me.
Oh well. I’m just going to say “bouncy” and leave it at that.

At the time of reviewing, Goated was a pure crypto casino, with no sports or esports betting available.
- Current bonuses and real value
- Rewards, rakeback, and VIP perks
Although there was no Goated casino welcome bonus available, the platform did have a packed schedule of promos for existing players. While these will change regularly, this is what was running at the time of writing:
$5,000 Weekly Raffle – Earn tickets by wagering
$20,000 Weekly Race – A simple wagering race
G3’s Challenge – Beat game multipliers to win a share of $3,000
Battle of the Originals – A promo for Goat’s original Dice, Keno, and Plinko, with a $15K prize pool
Mystery Code Chase – Solve a daily riddle and place bets to win mystery bonus codes
Goated Challenges – Complete single game challenges by hitting target multipliers to win prizes
Pragmatic Drops & Wins – The huge $2M prize pool network promo from Pragmatic Play

The Goated VIP program has 9 main tiers, with a total of 41 sub-levels, starting from Copper and going through to Diamond. To level up, you need XP, which is earned by wagering real money. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any information provided about the rate at which XP is earned.

- Quality and Speed
- Navigation, layout, and performance
- Gameplay and usability on mobile
Goated crypto casino provides 24/7 player support via live chat. However, there doesn’t appear to be any customer support email listed – even in the fine print of the Terms and Conditions.
A fairly comprehensive help center is available, with information about everything from bonuses and payments to account management and games. You can also follow and connect with Goated casino on X (Twitter), and Telegram, and there’s a regularly updated Goated blog.

In terms of design, Goated is very much like a hundred other crypto casinos. Everything is where you’d expect it to be, and things seem to work. Navigation is intuitive, and terms and conditions for offers are readily accessible and reasonably clear.
Like most crypto casino platforms, Goated hasn’t put much effort into responsible gambling. Yes, you can self-exclude for a set amount of time from your account settings. However, there was no ability to set deposit, wager, loss, or time limits.
At the time of compiling this Goated casino review, the platform was only available in English and Japanese.
Languages
No Goated casino mobile app is available for iOS or Android devices. However, the web-based platform is optimized for mobile browsers, so the casino runs fine on smartphones and tablets.
The casino’s native token is, funnily enough, called the Goated Token (GOATED). It’s based on Solana and, according to the Goated Lite Paper, promises to “reward active users, strengthen community ties, and enhance player experiences.”
At the time of writing, tokens had been airdropped to players and there were just under 7,000 holders. According to the on-site dashboard, the market cap was sitting at just over $1.8m, with just under 115k of $GOATED circulating out of a total supply of 1 billion.
$GOATED can be staked to earn entries into the planned Goated Lottery, along with boosted rewards for future airdrops.
Currently, GOATED can only be traded on Raydium DEX.

The founder or co-founder of Goated seems to be the mysterious “G3” – you can see her streaming on Goated’s Kick stream.

If you’re a regular here at CoinBets, you’ll know how difficult it is to accurately assess the reputation of any crypto casino. There’s just too much affiliate marketing garbage and too many fake reviews out there. But, if only for entertainment purposes, here’s how Goated was rated at several popular casino review sites:
| Platform | Overall Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 4.4 Excellent | Based on 154 reviews |
![]() | Overall: 8.6/10 Safety Index: High | |
![]() | Trust Score: 4.5/10 | Advises players to “be careful” |

In fairness to Goated, it hasn’t really had the time to build a reputation – virtually all the existing reviews are meaningless affiliate drivel. The Trustpilot reviews don’t appear to have been badly afflicted by a reputation laundering effort yet – but that will probably come.

Goated
Goated brings KYC-free sign-up and Web3 wallets, but weak licensing, modest crypto support, missing sportsbook, and unclear token plans raise doubts.

Verdict
Considering how new Goated is to the crypto casino space, it’s hard to draw conclusions. But, heck, I’ll have a go.
Okay, so on the one hand, Goated supports Web3 wallets, there’s no predatory welcome bonus, and the terms and conditions are readily accessible. On the games side, the choice is still relatively limited, but those that are available are from quality providers.
Now for the not-so-good bits. First up, it’s registered in Belize and has an Anjouan license — which means zero real player protection. Next, only a modest range of cryptos are supported, there’s no working option to buy or exchange crypto, and there are no fiat banking options. Then there’s the native GOATED token — it looks “shaky” to say the least.
And of course, there’s there lack of responsible gambling tools. But that’s to be expected with an Anjouan-licensed platform.
Again, it is early days for Goated casino, so I’m inclined to remain optimistic. But for now, if you do sign up, use caution. Keep your casino balances limited, and make frequent small withdrawals.
But that’s just what I think. Have you played at Goated? If so, why not write a CoinBets review and share your thoughts with our player community?
Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay safe and have fun!
