The unlicensed Costa Rica-based casino that claims to be the “safest”
Launched in 2022, Costa Rica-based 0xBET declares itself to be the “Safest Online Casino”. The platform certainly looks slick and tempts players with a huge 9-part welcome package. And in addition to slots, instant wins, table, and live games, 0x.BET also offers sports and esports betting.
In this original CoinBets 0xBET casino review, I’ll be signing up, wagering real crypto, and tearing apart the offers and small print. I’ll pay particular attention to that welcome bonus, crypto payment options, the games catalog, and VIP program.
So, does this crypto casino live up to its promise, or is the “safest online casino” claim more irony than accurate description?
- Casino credentials and player protection
- Bonus size, terms, and fairness
- Sign-up speed and steps
As always, let’s start by checking out this casino’s credentials:
0x.Bet is operated by Nimbus Enterprises Limitada, which is incorporated in Costa Rica (company no. 3-102-903193). The casino is operating without any recognized online gambling license.
The site connection is secure and the security certificate is valid
At the time of writing this 0xBET casino review, the platform was offering a welcome bonus worth “700% up to 10,000€ +725 FS” — which definitely sounds generous, but is it really what it seems?
Let’s look under the hood:
- 1st Welcome Bonus – 100% up to 500€ + 75FS
- 2nd Welcome Bonus – 75% up to €750 + 75FS
- 3d Welcome Bonus – 50% up to €1000 + 75FS
- 4th Welcome Bonus – 50% up to €500
- 5th Welcome Bonus – 50% up to €500
- 6th Welcome Bonus – 50% up to €1000
- 7th Welcome Bonus – 50% up to €1500
- 8th Welcome Bonus – 75% up to €1750
- 9th Welcome Bonus – 100% up to €2000
Okay, so that’s one convoluted welcome package! And, big red flag straight up — the terms and conditions are not readily linked from the promo page. The only info provided is what you see above.
Not good. So, I dug through the Terms of Use and Bonus Policy and guess what? Yep, no further details. So, literally nothing about wagering requirements (and you can bet your bottom Satoshi there will be high wagering), nothing about time limits, no details of free spins games or betting restrictions. Nothing.
Eventually I located some information about the 1st and 2nd welcome bonuses (My Bonuses → Archive). The wagering requirement for the deposit bonuses appears to be a hefty 50x – though it’s not clear if this is based on the bonus alone, or the bonus + deposit.
In fact, the 0xBET welcome offer may be the worst I’ve ever seen — and I’ve reviewed hundreds of crypto casinos. Really, it’s a complete disgrace.

Prohibited Jurisdictions
Despite 0xBET not being licensed, the terms of use still prohibit players from many jurisdictions. These include countries like France, Spain, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Of course, given that 0xBET advertises itself as “KYC-free for crypto players”, you may get away with using a VPN to play from a prohibited country. But even so, be aware that the casino reserves the right to ask for verification, and if you’ve broken the terms, it can close your account and confiscate funds.
For practical advice on verification, check out the CoinBets guide to navigating KYC and privacy in crypto casinos.

Payments
At the time of writing this 0xBET casino review, deposits and withdrawals were available in a modest range of cryptocurrencies. Though memecoin and privacy coin fans will be disappointed.

To make a crypto deposit, tap the “+” symbol next to your balance and then select the crypto you’d like to deposit. Enter how much you’d like to deposit (in crypto or fiat), and select the network if applicable. You’ll be presented with a unique deposit address in both QR code and text formats.

To withdraw crypto, open your wallet and select the crypto you’d like to cash out. Then tap “Withdrawal”, and state how much you want to transfer. Paste in your withdrawal wallet address, and select the network if applicable. The processing fee will be stated. If it all looks good, hit “Withdraw.”

CoinBets.com Tip: Always double-check crypto wallet addresses after pasting them – you don’t want to fall victim to ‘PasteJacking’. This is when hackers exploit the copy-paste function to change wallet addresses to steal funds.
0xBET also supports fiat payment options including Mastercard and Visa.
Buying Crypto
In common with the best crypto casinos, 0xBET lets you buy crypto via a Changelly or MoonPay integration. Simply go to your wallet, select “Deposit”, then tap “Buy crypto via Moonpay” and follow the prompts.

Game Selection
At the time of writing this 0xBET casino review, the platform offered over 7,000 casino games of all types from more than 70 providers.
Unfortunately, the lobby is a bit of a mess. There are some useful filters and categories, but as you’ll see from the screenshot below, they weren’t displaying properly.

- Game variety
- Fast gameplay
- Live dealer games
- Classic RNG-based table and card games
- Casual number-based games
As you’d expect, the vast majority of the games here are slots.
At the time of writing this 0xBET casino review, the most popular titles were Book of Ra Deluxe 6 from Novomatic, and SixSixSix and Wanted Dead or a Wild from Hacksaw Gaming. Snoop Dogg Dollars from BGaming and Fortune Tiger from PGSoft were also ranking.
As mentioned, there are some categories available, even though they weren’t displaying properly. These let you browse for slots with a few specific features like bonus buys and jackpots — but they are far from comprehensive. For example, to find Megaways slots, you’ll need to use the search function.

Book of Ra Deluxe 6 (Novomatic)

I decided to kick this 0xBET casino review off with Book of Ra Deluxe 6 — the latest incarnation of Novomatic/Green Tube’s most iconic slot. Why? Well, the categories were so dysfunctional, that it was easiest just to go with the first slot listed!
Still, everyone loves a bit of Book of Ra, right? I mean, the graphics are so dated that they’ve got a certain retro charm. Playing it reminds me of the world before COVID and wokism turned the world into a theatre of the absurd.
The game itself? It feels very much like other Book of Ra slots, except you get the option of activating a 6th reel — which increases the potential max win to 10,180x your bet. The theoretical RTP has also been improved, now standing at 95.03% compared to the original’s 92.13%.
However, the game is still highly volatile, and the real action still centers around the free spins bonus feature.
So, how did I get on?
Pretty poorly.
After 45 spins, I’d only managed to achieve an RTP of 40.56%. Disappointing, but hell, it was fun to go down memory lane.
64 Gold Coins Hold & Win 20,000 (Booming Games)

Next up I played 64 Gold Coins Hold and Win 20,000 from Booming Games.
It’s a retro fruit/coins-style game with fixed jackpots and a fairly traditional 5×5 grid — at least to start with. You see, if you trigger the bonus game the grid can expand to a huge 8×8 format. And, coupled with the Hold and Win mechanics, those respins can rack up some huge wins. In fact, up to a staggering 20,000x your stake.
This slot has 30 paylines, a medium-high volatility rating and a theoretical RTP of 95.9%. All pretty standard stuff, right? Well, on my fifth spin I triggered the bonus game and then walked away with an incredible RTP of 1,263.33%.
Unfortunately, I was a complete plonker and was only playing with tiny €0.30 spins. Yep, I played just €1.50 and won €18.95.
Still, it was fun, and it does prove this slot has potential! I’ll definitely be back.
Bank Maker (Mancala Gaming)

And the slot game that finally destroyed my bank roll? Bank Maker from Mancala Gaming.
To be honest, I rarely even notice this provider, but again, the dysfunctional lobby at 0xBET put it at eye level, so I thought I’d check it out.
In terms of theme, it’s all about the cash here — lots and lots of glorious green dollar bills — with a 1930’s Monopolyesque flavor. Actually, I was quite impressed with the visuals and sounds —very atmospheric.
Specs-wise, it has a medium variance rating, 10 betways, and an official RTP of 95%. However, for a cash-themed game, the max win is only 2,000x your bet.
Features include substitution symbols, multipliers, random wilds, scatters, and free spins. But alas, with just a few bucks left to play with, I didn’t get to trigger anything or see much action. And, after playing 38 x $1 spins, I’d only won back 5 lousy bucks. A real RTP of just 13.16%.
Meh, bankers.
As you’ve probably guessed, there’s no dedicated category for crash games and other casual game types at 0xBET casino. So, it’s over to searching by tag — very frustrating. However, if you’ve got the patience, you will find titles like Aviatrix, Crashout — Firework from 1×2 Gaming, Mine Crash by Darwin Gaming, and Speed Crash from Hacksaw.
As for other instant games? Well, at the time of making this 0xBET casino review, a search for “plinko” delivered games from providers including Betsolutions, Spribe, and KA Gaming. While “scratch games” turned up just 3 results: Scratch Dice from BGaming, Scratch Match from Evoplay, and Brian Lara Sporting Legends Scratch from PlayTech.

Just when I thought 0xBet couldn’t get any worse, I tried to open the Live Casino lobby — only to find it didn’t work at all.
Literally, at the time of writing this 0xBet, when I clicked on the category, it just took me to the main casino lobby. However, clicking on the “Blackjack” category from the “More” tab did take me to live dealer games. Not blackjack games as such, but rather just live games.
So, if you are a glutton for punishment and want to put yourself through this, you can find live casino games from providers like Evolution, Winfinity, Lucky Streak and Iconic 21. And, there is a fair selection of live roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, and game shows,
But really, I wouldn’t bother, it’s a mess.

Given how dysfunctional 0x.Bet is, finding RNG-based table games will involve finding any category that works and scrolling a lot. Nothing is logical. But, eventually, you will find games like Single Deck Blackjack from Platipus, Fortune Roulette from Tada Gaming, and Video Poker from King Midas.
Searching for “bingo” when writing this 0xBET casino review served up a decent selection of games — like 88 Bingo 88 from Belatra, Instant Bingo from Games Global, and Extra Bingo from Voltent.
The keno choice is more limited, but still okay — with games like FireFly Keno from 1×2 Gaming, Keno from Spribe, and Sweet Keno from Inout.

- Testing transparency and randomness
At the time of writing this 0xBET casino review, there were supposed to be some original provably fair games. But guess what? Yep, the category didn’t work and 0xBET wasn’t listed under providers.
Eventually, I did find them — by selecting “InOut” from the providers list — which hints at just how “original” these supposed in-house games really are. In reality, the 0xBET “originals” are just InOut games like Chicken Road, Lucky Mines, and Diver.
Still confused by what’s provably fair and what’s not? Check out the exclusive CoinBets guide to provably fair gaming.

There are also some provably fair games available from providers like Spribe and BGaming – though locating them can be challenging! Want to learn more about provably fair gaming? Check out the CoinBets Introduction to Provably Fair Gaming.
Like the best crypto gambling platforms, 0xBET also offers sports and esports betting. You’ll find standard and live in-play sports betting on everything from football and water polo to tennis and cricket.
Plus, esports betting is available on disciplines like Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, eCricket, and League of Legends.

- Bonuses, tournaments and special offers
- Rewards, rakeback, and VIP perks
In addition to the 0xBET welcome offer, there are supposed to be other promotions available for existing players. But, as you’ve probably guessed, when writing this 0xBET casino review, the promo page was a glitchy mess.
However, it does seem that 0x.Bet participates in provider-run network promos like Drops & Wins from Pragmatic Play.
There are also numerous personalized mini games, missions and tournaments available under the “Wheel” tab. Completing these enables you to collect coins, which you can then spend in the 0xBET store. Rewards available in the store include free spins, cash bonuses, deposit bonuses, and even offline prizes like iPhones and Macbooks.

When writing this 0xBET casino review, the VIP program featured a private club “where the dreams and desires of only the chosen come true.”
Cringe.
Anyway, it features 5 tiers with progressively better rewards including rakeback, free money bonuses, VIP real cashback, increased limits, and eventually, personal account managers and offline gifts.
However, as I’ve come to expect from 0xBET, the information (when there is any information), is nonsensical. Really, it reads like a drunk baboon wrote it.
For example, how do you earn points or progress through the tiers?
Well, apparently:
“Player levels are based on wagered amounts. Simply place bets! The more you play – the higher level you get. No matter whether you win or lose – every bet counts! You are welcome to check all the wagering requirements for each level at the level`s explanation block Requirements for getting VIP levels below.”
I’m glad that’s cleared up then.
What I can give you is a rough breakdown of the benefits at each level:
| Level | Rakeback (up to) | Cashback | VIP Wheel for Level Up | Special Offers | Tournaments | Increased Withdrawal Limits & Faster Withdrawals | Personal Account Manager | Offline Gifts |
| Discoverer | 10% | 5% | ✔ | ✔ | ||||

- Service and information
- Navigation, layout, and performance
- Gameplay and usability on mobile
As at virtually all online casinos, 24/7 support is provided at 0xBET via live chat — although this is, initially at least, via a chat bot. However, if AI can’t help you, you can request to speak with a human. Alternatively, you can email support@0x.bet.
Beyond that, there are basically no informational or community resources at 0xBet. Not even a dedicated FAQ page, and absolutely no linked social media profiles.

Okay, so at first glance, 0xBET looks slick enough — the colors are nice. But to say 0xBET provides a poor user experience is an understatement. In fact, my dentist provides a better UX than this casino. Really, I’ve reviewed hundreds of online casinos in my time, and I’ve never seen such a badly organized, glitchy, and dysfunctional mess.
The only thing that seems to work properly here are payments. Deposits are super easy and smooth.
Funny that.
And as for responsible gambling? I don’t think this operator has even heard of the term. There’s not even a basic responsible gambling info page, let alone any safer gambling tools.
For real safer gambling advice and resources, we recommend checking out GambleAware.
Languages
At the time of creating this 0xBET casino review, a mobile app was available for iOS Safari and Android Chrome devices.
You can download it from the website (scroll down the left side menu). However, besides the claim that “secret extra bonuses are only in the app”, no more info was provided.

Nimbus Enterprises Limitada, the Costa Rica-based operator of 0xBET, also operates online gambling brand PokoBet.
Okay, so we’ve seen what 0xBET offers, but what are players and reviewers saying about it?
Well, it’s difficult to accurately gauge the reputation of any online casino. Review platforms like Trustpilot have been ruined by organized reputation laundering campaigns, and most other platforms are operated by iGaming affiliates.
In fact, that’s why we launched CoinBets — to give you a source for unbiased reviews. But, out of curiosity if nothing else, here were some ratings at the time of writing this 0xBET casino review:
| Platform | Overall Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 3.6/5 Average | Based on 504 reviews |
![]() | Overall: 9/10 Safety Index: Very High User Feedback: Bad | Based on 18 users |

0xBet
It’s totally unlicensed and based in Costa Rica, but hey, 0x.Bet does offer a huge welcome bonus, easy sign-up and over 7k games.

Verdict
Okay then, what’s my overall impression of 0x.Bet?
Well in a word, “awful.”
Really, if you’re a regular here at CoinBets, you’ll know I can be pretty brutal with my reviews, but for this casino, I don’t think anything I say will be sufficiently damning.
Let’s start with the casino operator. Based in Costa Rica and operating with no license at all. I mean, if you can’t even be bothered to get an Anjouan or Tobique license, it says a lot (and none of it’s good). The casino might claim to be KYC-free, but if you play here and something goes wrong, you don’t have a leg to stand on. Not even a worm-eaten wooden leg.
Next, there’s the fact that, at least while writing this 0xBet casino review, the UX was absolutely, utterly, insanely bad.
The categories and navigation are dysfunctional and important info, like bonus terms, was nowhere to be found. Even when info is there, it’s badly written gobbledygook.
The promos? Nothing more than high wagering traps.
And Web3 and crypto-first features? Nada. Nothing to see here.
Basically, I wouldn’t trust 0xBET as far as I could throw it, and there’s no compelling reason to play here. The product is sub-par, it’s presently abysmally, and the operator seems shady. If for some unfathomable reason you do decide to give it a try, proceed with extreme caution.
But, that’s just what I think. Have you played at 0xBET recently? If so, why not write a CoinBets review and share your thoughts with the player community?
Thanks for reading, and until next time, good luck and stay frosty!
