Huge, Messy, and Controversial: It’s 1XBET
It’s “everything you need for victory”, apparently. Yep, 1XBET is certainly sure of itself! And, since launching in 2007, it’s grown into one of the major players in online gambling. Today, 1XBET offers thousands of slots, instant wins, and live casino games, alongside sports and esports betting. However, the brand has often hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons – keep reading for more on that.
In this original CoinBets review, I’m going to be signing up, wagering real crypto, and generally sniffing around to see if everything is as it seems. I’ll be paying particular attention to the 1XBET welcome bonus, loyalty program, and those all important terms and conditions.
So, is 1XBET really what you need for victory?
License and Security
1XBET.com is operated by Caecus N.V., and is based and licensed in Curaçao (license number OGL/2024/1262/0489).
The site connection is secure and the security certificate is valid

Opening a New Account
Getting started at 1XBET.com is quick and easy, with multiple sign up options available:
One-Click registration
Sign up with your mobile phone number or email address: Select your country, city, and currency. Enter your email/phone number, first and last name, and set a strong password. Enter the promocode if you have one. Click “Register.”
Sign in via third party services like Telegram, VK, or Google.

Important: The 1XBET.com platform is blocked in many jurisdictions, including the US, UK, Germany, France and many other countries to comply with its Curacao license.
However, unlike most crypto casinos, the Terms and Conditions contain no specific information about prohibited jurisdictions or VPN use. Even so, the terms do give the casino operator the right to conduct KYC checks and demand identity documents. Hence, using a VPN to bypass geoblocking may cause problems when you try to withdraw funds.
It’s also worth noting that there are some locally licensed 1XBET sites, including 1XBET.ie – which claims to be licensed by The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (at the time of writing, there was no way to actually confirm this on the www.grai.ie website).

Global Popularity
In case you’re wondering about where 1XBET players are coming from – well, that’s a tough one. The brand uses lots of mirrors, and many players are probably using VPNs. However, according to Similarweb, 1XBET.com was attracting over 4.2m visits per month at the time of writing – with the top sources being Bolivia, South Korea, Tunisia, Senegal, and India.
Welcome Bonus
At the time of writing this 1XBET review, the platform was offering new players a “Megabonus” worth up to €1,500 plus 150 free spins.
Sounds generous, but is it all it’s cracked up to be? Let’s take a closer look.
Minimum deposit of €10 EUR required
Opt-in required before making deposit
Welcome bonus split over first four deposits as follows:
- 1st deposit – 100% bonus up to €300 and 30 FS for Jun Yun ManMan
- 2nd deposit – 50% bonus up to €350 and 35 FS for Mariachi Afortunado
- 3rd deposit – 25% bonus up to €400 and 40 FS for Draco’s Gold
- 4th deposit – 25% bonus up to €450 and 45 FS for Buffalo Goes Wild
All deposits subject to 35x wagering requirement (within 7 days, max bet €5)
Free spins only available after deposit bonus has been wagered
Sounds pretty much like standard stuff. Only the bonus amount needs to be wagered, which is good.
But then, boom! As far as crypto gambling goes, it’s irrelevant. Point 19 of the terms reads: “All types of bonus are disabled for cryptocurrencies, without exception.”
Oh well, I guess 1XBET isn’t much of a crypto casino after all!

Payments
Despite not offering bonuses for crypto gamblers, 1XBET does support a good range of cryptocurrencies for deposits and withdrawals, including memecoins and privacy coins.
Crypto Deposits & Withdrawals:

To make a crypto deposit, tap the green “$ Deposit” tab, select “Cryptocurrency”, then choose your desired crypto (and network, if applicable). You will be provided with a unique deposit address in both text and QR code formats. The minimum deposit amount for your chosen crypto will be stated.

To withdraw crypto, select “Withdraw Funds” (under “My Account”), and then tap “Cryptocurrency.” Enter how much you’d like to transfer, then paste in your wallet address. Check everything is correct, then tap the green “Confirm” button.

CoinBets.com Tip: Always double-check crypto wallet addresses after pasting them – you don’t want to fall victim to ‘PasteJacking’. This is when hackers exploit the copy-paste function to change wallet addresses to steal funds.
1XBET also supports fiat options including e-wallets like AIRTM, Skrill, Skrill 1-Tap, Binance Pay, Neteller, MiFinity, and MoneyGO, plus other services like ecoPayz, PaySafeCard, Flexepin, and Jeton Cash.
Buying Crypto
Surprisingly considering its size, 1XBET.com doesn’t provide the option of buying crypto directly from third-parties like MoonPay or Changelly.
Game Selection
At the time of writing this 1XBET.com review, the platform carried more than 15,000x casino games from over 60 providers.

In terms of organization, the casino is, well, “strange.” On the one hand, there are handy collections, mechanics and feature filters, and you can even sort by theme. But, on the other, there’s no “slots” category – until there is.
Yep, the user experience here is nothing short of a god awful mess. You’ll literally find yourself randomly facing completely different layouts, with no idea why it changed.

As to be expected, the vast majority of casino games at 1XBET are slots. At the time of writing this 1XBET casino review, the most popular slots included Joker’s Jewels Cash from Pragmatic Play, Pick a Fruit Fire Blaze from Spinomenal, and Diego’s Spicy Truck: Hold and Earn from Mancala Gaming – quite an unusual line-up!
Clunky as it is, at least the various collections make it easy to find slots with specific features and mechanics. Want Megaways? No problem – one click and you’ll find games like Aloha! Fruityways Megaways from Funky Games, Aztec Jaguar Megaways from Synot, and 5 Lions Megaways from Pragmatic Play. Looking for jackpot slots? Again, one click and you’ll find titles like Sizzling Neon Jackpot from Spinmatic Entertainment and Fruit Invaders from Amigo Gaming.

1X Riot (Mascot)

To kick off my gameplay experience at 1XBET.com casino, I decided to go for 1X Riot – an exclusive branded version of Riot from Mascot Gaming.
As you’ve probably guessed, this slot is all about a bit of good old urban disorder – something that seems to be coming back into fashion lately. Now, call me cynical, but I wasn’t expecting too much from this. In my experience, casino-branded versions of slots tend to be inferior to the originals. I’m not sure why, but they do.

However, 1X Riot seems to be just as much fun as Mascot’s original. It’s a medium volatility game, so the wins are fairly frequent, and with a theoretical RTP of 96.70% and a max win of 5,000x your bet, it’s all pretty much middle of the road stuff. But, the graphics, soundtrack, and features – which include Survivor Free Spins, Raze! Rave! Bonus, and Base Camp Bonus, keep things exciting.
And wow, did it go well! After betting NZ $75, I’d won back a very nice $458.30 – giving a real RTP of 611.06%.
Yep, I think I’ll be donning the balaclava and filling those molotov cocktails again soon!
Diego’s Spicy Truck – Hold and Earn (Mancala Gaming)

After all that rioting I was feeling peckish, but luckily Diego’s Spicy Truck from Mancala Gaming was parked up around the corner. And this slot definitely has a fun Mexican vibe with its toon graphics and bright colors. The features are tempting too – fixed jackpots, cash collector, hold and win, multipliers, wilds, respins.
But just like food from south of the border, this slot is highly volatile – and you can go a long time without seeing any decent wins. Still, the maximum win possible is a very respectable 20,000x your bet and the overall RTP is a reasonable 95% – so it could be worth sticking with.
Unfortunately, Diego just wasn’t doing it for me. After 75 x $1 spins, I’d only won back $42.80, giving a real RTP of just 58.4%.
Ah heck, it was still good fun and I’d play it again.
To find crash and other instant win games, you’ll need to click on “More” in the top horizontal menu. Here you’ll find games like Aviator from Spribe, JetX from Smartsoft, Aviatrix, and various Turbo Games, Arkana Gaming, and 100HP Gaming titles. There’s also a category for provably fair games like HiLo, Plinko and Mines from Betsolutions.
Additionally, you’ll find scratch cards under “More” – with a selection of mostly Hacksaw Gaming cards, including The Perfect Scratch, Football Scratch, and Chaos Crew Scratch. There’s also a “Hunting and Fishing” category, but this just took me to a random page displaying a slot, and then promptly redirected me to the main lobby – a completely different main lobby.
Really, it feels like 1XBET was designed by a team of inebriated goldfish.

With more than 700 tables, the 1XBET live casino is big. In fact, you won’t just find the usual live dealer games from Evolution and Pragmatic Play. Nope, there’s also live blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, craps, and more from providers like Winfinity, Amusnet, 88Mojo, Fazi, TVBet, Skywind Group, Ezugi, Lucky Streak, Playtech, SAGaming, Vivo Gaming, Live88, 7Mojos, and more.
Live game shows? They’re pretty much all here. From Mega Wheel, Monopoly Live, and Crazy Balls, to Sweet Bonanza Candyland, Cabaret Roulette, and Lightning Dice.
Unfortunately, despite the choice, and the useful collections – like VIP Tables, Speed Games, and different language options – the lobbies are slow and clunky.

The easiest way to find RNG-based table games at 1XBET casino, is to select the type of game (blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, etc,) under the “Mechanics” filter. Hundreds of options are available, ranging from 5 Handed American Blackjack and Speed Blackjack, to European Roulette, Royal Tiger Baccarat, and Caribbean Poker.

Video bingo and keno are also available under the Mechanics menu – but bingo is also listed in the main menu too. The choice is impressive, with everything from Wild Bingo and Lucky Shamrock Bingo by Platipus, to Jogo Do Bicho from Funky Games and Rainforest Magic Bingo by Play’n GO. The keno line-up is also good, with options including Keno by Orbital and Keno Party from Mascot.

As previously mentioned, 1XBET offers provably fair crash and casual games from providers like Turbo Games, Spribe, and betsolutions – you’ll find them under the “More” menu. When it comes to in-house originals? Well, selecting “1XGames” serves up lots of games, including slots and crash titles, but none appear to be provably fair.

Inspired by my success with 1X Riot, for today’s CoinBets Challenge I opted for another one of the exclusive 1XBET branded slots – specifically, 1X Buffalo Gold Canyon from Gamebeat. And given that I’d got a fairly healthy bankroll, I decided to do one of my favorite challenges – standard spins vs free spins.
So, I would play 100 x $1.20 standard spins, then try to beat the resulting RTP by spending $120 on bonus buy free spins. Pricey, but fun!
But before I reveal what happened, a bit about the slot first. It was released in early 2025, is rated highly volatile, has a theoretical RTP of 96.14%, and a max win of 14,217x your bet. Now, as the name suggests, it’s got an old western frontier theme – hardly original – but features like wilds with multipliers and the free spins bonus game add some depth.

Right, so the results of the challenge?
After 100 x $1.20 standard bets, I’d won back $164.40, giving an RTP of 137%. A decent result – would I be able to beat it by spending $120 on a bonus buy?
Well yes, yes I did! In style. The $120 got me 25 free spins initially, but I managed to retrigger quite a few too. In total, I won $402.75, making for a fantastic 335.63% RTP.
Another CoinBets Challenge completed! I’m on a roll.

In common with the best crypto casinos, 1XBET also has a fully loaded sportsbook. It offers pre-match and live sports betting across a huge choice of traditional sports, from football, tennis, basketball, and ice hockey, to boxing, darts, and Formula 1. Standard and live esports betting is also available for disciplines including CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, and PUBG Mobile.

If you like sports action, but can’t be bothered with waiting around for real events, you can check out the virtual sports section at 1XBET. There’s a wide choice of virtual sports, including virtual football, virtual horse racing, and virtual motorsports from providers Global Bet, Golden Race, Betradar, Kiron Interactive, Leap, Pragmatic Play, Raise Gaming, Atlas-V, and Solidicon.
As previously pointed out, the 1XBET.com terms specifically exclude all bonuses for crypto users. Still, if you’re using fiat, there are other promotions available besides the welcome bonus. At the time of writing, they included:
Jacky’s Bet – Follow Jacky on Instagram and DM her with the codephrase “FREE” to get 50 free spins.
Big Play Day – Deposit on a Sunday to get up to 200 free spins.
Deal of the Day – Deposit on Tuesday to get an extra 50%.
Subscribe for 100 FS – Subscribe to 1XBET’s Telegram channel to get free spins.
Loyalty Pays Off – Get up to 100 free spins and a 50% bonus on your tenth deposit.
The 1XBET loyalty program consists of 8 levels and rewards participating players with increasing cashback. Beyond that, no upfront information is provided, and you’ll need to opt-in to take part. However, again, it says that it is not available for cryptocurrencies, “without exception”.
So yeah, there you go.

Like most crypto gambling platforms, 1XBET provides 24/7 customer support via live chat and email (info-en@1xbet-team.com).
However, you can also contact support via X (1xbet_Support), and even request a callback or call phone support on +44 127 325-69-87 (UK number). That’s vanishingly rare at crypto casinos these days.

Additionally, there’s a 1XBET blog with guides and articles covering casino and sports betting subjects, and you can follow the casino on social media including Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter).

In terms of design, 1XBET.com feels very dated and cluttered – basically, there seems to be little thought behind any of it, and it’s bloated, slow, and glitchy. In fact, everything about 1XBET feels outdated – from the payments interface to the layout of the game lobbies. Really, I’ve reviewed hundreds of online casinos, and I have to say, 1XBET wins the award for the most frustrating user experience.
In fairness to 1XBET, they are obviously aware of how bad the user experience is, because they appeared to be testing a new website. It promises “improved design, extended functionality, and simplified navigation.” Well, yes, this platform desperately needs all of those. But when I tried the new version, it was a marginal improvement at best.

When it comes to responsible gambling, there’s an information page linked from the website footer. It claims you can set things like deposit limits or self exclude easily, without contacting support, but the links to the tools are broken. Basically, everything here is a mess, so it’s no surprise.
In addition to English, 1XBET.com is available in dozens of international languages, including:
Languages
1XBET mobile apps are available to download for both Android and iOS devices. And to be honest, while the website will run on mobile browsers, it’s overloaded with junk, so if you want to play via your smartphone, you’re probably best using the 1XBET mobile app.

1XBET was originally founded in Russia, but today runs operations from Cyprus – despite 1XBET’s operating company technically being based and licensed in Curacao.
Over the years, the brand has been involved in plenty of controversy. For example, having its sponsorship deals with English Premier League football clubs Chelsea, Tottenham, and Liverpool abruptly terminated in 2019 after an investigation by The Sunday Times. The paper accused 1XBET of promoting gambling on children’s sports, cockfighting, and pornagraphic casinos, as well as advertising on illegal websites.

If that wasn’t concerning enough, 1XBET has also been subject to criminal prosecution in several countries, and its three founders, Roman Semiokhin, Dmitry Kazorin, and Sergey Karshkov, have all been the subject of international arrest warrants. Notably, the latter, who died in Switzerland in June 2023, was a former Russian intelligence agent.
And, in late 2021, a 1XBET subsidiary, 1xCorp MV, was embroiled in another scandal. In this case, when pursued by players chasing millions of euros of alleged unpaid winnings, the Curaçao-based company simply filed for bankruptcy – which was declared in June 2022 – and carried on operating. Interestingly, this was the same tactic Dama N.V., another Curaçao-based crypto casino operator, used when it found itself in a similar situation in 2024.
Despite the highly questionable nature of its business, 1XBET is still, somehow, partnered with some of the biggest names in sports and esports.
Indeed, at the time of writing, 1XBET had official partnerships with:
- FC Barcelona
- Paris Saint-Germain F.C.
- Lega Serie A
- Bestia (CS2 team)
- PGL
- The Dallas Open
- Volleyball World
- Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League
- FIBA
- Billie Jean King Cup
- MongolZ (CS2 team)
- Sangal Esports
- Aurora Gaming
- MIBR (Made in Brazil)
- CAF
Now, you could be forgiven for thinking no one’s doing their due diligence – but I’d say it’s more a case of “money talks.”

Right, so that’s what 1XBET crypto casino offers, but what are players saying about it? Well, as always, it’s important to keep in mind that most reviews are published by highly biased affiliate marketers (unlike CoinBets – we’re not paid by any casinos), and platforms like Trustpilot are swamped by fake reviews.
But, out of interest, here are some ratings at the time of writing:
| Platform | Overall Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 3.2 Average | (based on 8,218 reviews) |
![]() | Safety Index: B | |
![]() | CasinoRank: 2.8 | Player Rating: 7.5 (235 reviews) |

If you consider that affiliate sites like Casino Guru and AskGamblers are normally wildly generous with their ratings, things don’t look too good for 1XBET.
Even the obvious attempt at reputation laundering on Trustpilot is tempered by the huge numbers of negative 1-star reviews. In fact, on that platform we see the usual dodgy pattern of most reviews being either 1-star (55%) or 5-star (26%) – with little in between.
And the most common complaint? Extremely slow or declined withdrawals. Well, color me shocked.
1xBet
Huge game variety, but shady reputation and restrictive rules kill trust.
Verdict
Okay then, what’s my overall impression of 1XBET.com casino? Well, it’s a tough one to call.
The games catalog is undoubtedly impressive – but the casino is so bloated and messy that browsing can be headache inducing and very frustrating. Crypto support is also good, but using them means you’re not eligible for any bonuses. And while 1XBET is licensed in Curacao, the now-enforced KYC rules in that jurisdiction mean players in most major markets are going to hit a brick wall when trying to withdraw.
And when it comes to crypto-first features? Well, there aren’t any. Nope, beyond crypto payments and a few provably fair games, 1XBET doesn’t offer anything for crypto natives. There’s no token, no NFTs – heck, Web3 wallets aren’t even supported. Nope, this is very much an old-school gambling platform that also accepts crypto payments.
Then, there’s the bigger picture. As a brand 1XBET is controversial to say the least. Sure, it keeps throwing money at sports teams to try and maintain an air of respectability, but even by gambling industry standards, 1XBET is, erm, let’s just say “shady.”
So, if you’re feeling brave and aren’t fussed about not qualifying for any bonuses, then 1XBET casino does offer a lot of choice and could be worth trying. But only if you’re from a non-prohibited country, otherwise you’re just burning your crypto. Even then, I’d recommend keeping balances low.
But, that’s just what I think. What about you? Have you played at 1XBET.com recently? If so, why not write a CoinBets review and share your thoughts with our community?
Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay sharp, keep safe, and may the RTP be with you.
