Crypto-Games.io Review

Here’s where you’ll find verified Crypto Games user reviews and the web’s most in-depth expert casino review.

Appearing in 2023, Crypto-Games.io is a Costa Rica-based, crypto-only casino that now offers over 4,000 games, plus a sportsbook and esports betting. It promotes a 200% bonus worth up to 20,000 USDT and a tiered VIP program with up to 30% rakeback. But look closer and it’s a different story: there’s no license, its “provably fair” claims don’t hold water, and the VIP perks are more marketing than math.

So, is Crypto-Games.io a hidden gem, or just another sketchy site dressed up in Web3 drag?

Crypto-Games.io has plenty of games… and plenty of red flags

Joining the crypto gambling scene in 2023, Crypto-Games.io is a relatively small, unlicensed, Costa-Rica based casino operator. Today, it offers over 4,000 casino games, plus sports and esports betting. At first glance it looks slick, and offers an apparently generous welcome bonus and loyalty program – but scratch the surface and its red flags galore.

In this original CoinBets Crypto Games casino review, I’ll be opening an account, depositing and wagering real crypto, analyzing the welcome bonus, and combing through the small print. So, is CryptoGames what it claims to be, or is it yet another Costa Rican crypto casino shakedown? Let’s find out.

  • License and Security
    Casino credentials and player protection
  • Welcome Bonus
    Bonus size, terms, and fairness

License and Security

Casino credentials and player protection

As always, lets start by checking out the casino’s credentials:

image description

CryptoGames is operated by Blockchain Entertainment S.R.L., a company registered in Costa Rica (Company no. 1-7362-459817). Despite trying to give the impression it is licensed by the Costa Rica “Gambling Commission”, no such regulatory body exists, and the site is operating completely unlicensed.

Welcome Bonus

Bonus size, terms, and fairness

At the time of writing this Crypto Games casino review, new players were offered a “200% Bonus up to 20,000 USDT”. But is it really as generous as it sounds?

Here’s how the Crypto-Games.io welcome package breaks down:

sFirst Deposit Bonus: 100% up to 10,000 USDT (or equivalent). 40x wagering requirement.

Second Deposit Bonus: 50% up to 5,000 USDT (or equivalent). 35x wagering requirement.

Third Deposit Bonus: 50% up to 5,000 USDT (or equivalent). 25x wagering requirement.

All bonuses need to be activated on the Bonus Page before placing a bet. The maximum bet while using bonus funds is $15.

Additionally, “After the wagering requirements are met, the post-wager balance is capped at the combined value of your deposit and bonus” – apparently, to ensure a “fair gaming environment”. Of course, what this really does is limit how much you can cash out.

Placing bets with odds lower than 1.1x or on any of the restricted games may also lead to the confiscation of your balance or suspension of your account. Prohibited Games include all Mini Games, all Live Casino games, and a long list of slots. Check the list first, because this rule could be very easy to fall foul of.

Opening a New Account

Sign-up speed and steps

Signing up is quick and easy, but at the time of writing this Crypto Games casino review, the only option was using email. No third-party alternative like Google, Discord, or Steam, and no option to connect Web3 crypto wallets.

Tap the purple “Register” button. Choose a username, enter your email address, and set a strong password. Provide a referral code if you have one, then check the box to agree to the terms and conditions. Finally, tap “Register.”

Payments

At the time of creating this Crypto Games casino review, deposits and withdrawals were available in a modest selection of popular cryptocurrencies. Not great for a crypto-only gambling platform.

Don’t forget, whichever crypto you use, consider employing strategies to mitigate the risk of market volatility.

Crypto Deposits & Withdrawals:

Bitcoin (BTC)
Ethereum (ETH)
USDT Tether (USDT)
USDC (USDC)
TRON (TRX)
Dogecoin (DOGE)
XRP (Ripple)
Litecoin (LTC)
Stellar (XLM)

To make a crypto deposit, open your wallet (the purple tab next to your balance), choose “Deposit”, then select the crypto (and network, if applicable) you want to use. You’ll be provided with a unique deposit address in both QR code and text formats. At this point, you’ll also have the option to activate any available bonus.

To withdraw crypto, go to your wallet and select “Withdraw.” Choose your desired cryptocurrency (and network, if needed), paste your wallet address, and enter the withdrawal amount. Your available withdrawable balance and any fees will be displayed. If everything looks good, tap “Request withdraw.”

CoinBets.com Tip: Always double-check crypto wallet addresses after pasting them – you don’t want to fall victim to ‘PasteJacking’. This is when hackers exploit the copy-paste function to change wallet addresses to steal funds.

Buying Crypto

In common with all the best crypto casinos, CryptoGames lets you purchase crypto conveniently via a third-party integration.

In this case, it’s via Changelly, which accepts fiat payments including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and GPay. Simply open your wallet, then click “Buy Crypto.” Select the crypto you want, and then tap “Buy Now.” Follow the prompts to complete your transaction.

Game Selection

At the time of writing this Crypto Games casino review, the platform offered around 4,000 casino games of all types from almost 70 providers.

At first glance, the games lobby seemed reasonably well organized, with helpful categories like Bonus Buy, Megaways, Jackpot, etc.. However, the interface is very clunky and some constantly accessible search filters would be a big improvement.

  • Slots
    Game variety
  • Crash & Instant Wins
    Fast gameplay
  • Live Casino
    Dealer quality
  • Table Games and Video Poker
    Classic tables
  • Bingo and Keno
    Casual games

Slots

Game variety

As expected, slot games make up the vast bulk of the CryptoGames casino game catalog. When writing this Crypto Games casino review, trending slots included Fruit Million from BGaming, Christmas Big Bonanza from Pragmatic Play (even though it was July!), Valentine’s Heart from Endorphina, and Tome of Madness from Play’n GO.

Sometimes I get the feeling the “trending” games are just those the casino wants to push.

Anyway, things are a big of a mess here at CryptoGames — for example, Scratch Alpaca scratch cards from Hacksaw are mixed in with slots, and you can’t expand the various categories — you literally have to scroll horizontally.

Megaways slots, including White Rabbit Megaways from Big Time Gaming, and Buffalo Eternal Phoenix Megaways from Blueprint are available, but again, browsing them is a pain thanks to the layout. The same goes for the jackpot slots like Sun of Egypt 2 from Triple Cherry and Leprechaun’s Coins from Platipus – you’ll need patience to scroll through them!

CoinBets Experience

Cornelius Milk Hunter (NetEnt)

It’s been quite a while since I played a NetEnt slot, so I decided to kick off my play at Crypto Games with Cornelius Milk Hunter Megaways.

Its a toon-style game centered around a rather fat cat, in what looks like a very English suburban street — though the milk truck on the opening graphics is very much an American Divco affair. But heck, who cares — it’s got a fantastically 1980’s cartoon vibe, so it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

As for the specs, it’s a highly volatile, 6-reel/2-7 row game, with a maximum win of 4,297x your bet and a theoretical RTP of between 88% and 95.88%.

Features? It’s packing collectible multipliers and cash prizes, plus free spins boasting a bunch of extra features like prize boosters, more cash prizes, and a gathering all/reel function. Plus, if you’re feeling flush you can buy a free spins bonus for 50x the bet.

How did I get on?

Well, not great. After 50 x $1 bets, I’d only managed to claw back $22.25 — equating to a measly real RTP of just 44.50%

You can’t win em’ all.

Europe Transit (Evoplay)

After my disastrous visit to Cornelius, I figured I’d try something totally different next — and Europe Transit from Evoplay is definitely that.

To be honest, visually I was expecting something that looked like one of the Euro Truck Simulator games, but it was more Commodore 64 International Truck Racing. Okay, it wasn’t quite that bad, but the graphics are poor. And the gameplay? Let’s just say it’s more “fall asleep on the freeway” than exciting European driving.

In terms of specs, it’s a highly volatile slot with 5 reels and 10 paylines, a maximum win of  2,571x your bet, and an official RTP of 96%. Features include wilds, multipliers and a bonus free spins game.

As for my experience? A trucking joke. After 50 x $1 spins, I’d only managed to haul back $22.50 — a miserly 45% RTP

Yeah, I don’t think I’ll be playing Europe Transit again anytime soon!

Crash & Instant Wins

Fast gameplay

You’ll find crash games and other instant wins under the “Mini Games” category here at Crypto-Games. Specific games available include Avia Fly and Chicken Road 2 from InOut, Jet X from Smartsoft, and Plinko from BetSolutions.

Live Casino

Dealer quality

The Crypto-Games.io live casino is also a royal pain in the ass to browse. Really, who designed this?

The lobby is divided into categories: Popular; Game Shows; Poker, Roulette & Blackjack (yes, as one category); and Baccarat. But again, you can’t select “show all” to open up a category — instead you have to scroll horizontally. It’s horrible. To make things worse, you’ll also find RNG (random number generator) based table games mixed in with the live games.

Really, in terms of user experience, this is one of the most frustrating crypto casinos I’ve ever visited.

As for providers? Live dealer games are mostly from Pragmatic Play Live and Evolution, although there are also some from Ezugi, Vivo Gaming, and BetGames

Table Games and Video Poker

Classic tables

As mentioned, some RNG-based table games at Crypto-Games casino are sprinkled in with the live casino — for example, American Roulette 3D from Evoplay. But to find most, you’ll need to use the search function. This reveals games like Mini Roulette from Platipus and OneTouch, Blackjack Royale from Caleta, and Texas Hold’Em Poker from Vibra Gaming.

Bingo and Keno

Casual games

Searching for bingo actually delivers a surprisingly good choice. Specific video bingo games available include Baile Funk Bingo and Grandma Bingo from Caleta, Greek Fortunes: Bingo Bounty from NetGame, and Koi Bingo from Eurasian Gaming Slots.

Staying with lottery-style games, a search for keno also serves up a decent choice from providers like Mascot, Caleta, and Jili Games.

  • Provably Fair Games
    Testing transparency and randomness
  • CoinBets Challenge: Release the Kraken & Trigger the Bonus Game
    Our real-money gameplay results

Provably Fair Games

Testing transparency and randomness

Unlike the best crypto casinos, CryptoGames doesn’t offer any original in-house provably fair games. However, there’s a decent line-up from third party providers – chiefly InOut. As previously mentioned, you’ll find them under ‘Mini Games.’ Titles available include Ballonix, Hot Mines,Hamster Run, and around 40 others.

Unfortunately, the way that this casino markets its provably fair credentials is a little misleading. For example, saying “All Crypto-Games.io Games are Provably Fair.” What? No they aren’t. The vast majority aren’t.

CoinBets Challenge: Release the Kraken & Trigger the Bonus Game

Our real-money gameplay results

My bankroll had taken quite a battering from the slots here at Crypto Games, leaving me with just 44.75 USDT left. Needless to say, this limited my options for today’s CoinBets Challenge

After mulling things over, I decided to play Release the Kraken 2 from Pragmatic Play, and see if I could trigger the free spins bonus game with my remaining funds. I’d bet $1 per spin and keep going as long as I could. Now, anyone who’s played this slot knows that it’s highly volatile, so this was quite the challenge!

And after 68 spins, and with a just a few bucks left, I thought I’d failed. But then on the 69th spin – a miracle! 5 free spins triggered! Ah, the squishy undersea monsters had come through for me!

But my celebrations were premature. My winnings: $2. Yep, two bucks.

A few spins later, my balance had gone. After 73 $1 spins, I’d only managed to win back $28.80 – giving a real RTP of just 39.45%. But, technically speaking, I had managed to trigger the bonus game, so I did complete today’s CoinBets Challenge!

As for the game in general, it’s actually a lot of fun. It’s got Pragmatic’s usual high production values with nice graphics and animated touches, while features include the kraken wild, wild respins, shifting stacked wilds, a guaranteed win, and the golden kraken bonus which unlocks free spins.

Notably, on triggering free spins, you do get the option to play a mini-bonus game to unlock a combo of free spins and multipliers. I turned this down, but perhaps I should have given it a go.

Official stats for Release the Kraken 2: 95.5% RTP, max win of 5,000x your bet.

Verdict: Good game, but I was all out of luck today.

Sportsbook

One of the few things Crypto-Games.io does have in common with the best crypto casinos, is also operating a sportsbook. You’ll find standard and live betting for traditional sports like football, basketball, tennis, table tennis, and ice hockey.

Plus, esports betting is available on disciplines like CS2, LoL, Dota 2, Valorant, and Rainbow 6.

  • Promotional Offers
    Current bonuses and real value
  • Loyalty Program & VIP Club
    Rewards, rakeback, and VIP perks

Promotional Offers

Current bonuses and real value

In addition to the CryptoGames welcome offer, a couple of other promos were available to existing players.

1 Bitcoin Jackpot Wheel  – Deposit at last $30 (or equivalent) to get a spin of the wheel, with a chance to “win 1 BTC” with no wagering requirements.

SpaceSatoshi Blitz Tournament – A wagering-based slots tournament with a $40K prizepool.

Loyalty Program & VIP Club

Rewards, rakeback, and VIP perks

At the time of creating this Crypto Games casino review, the platform offered a multi-tier loyalty/VIP program.

The marketing blurb is stuffed with wonderfully cynical lines like, “reaching higher levels isn’t just a testament to your gaming skills” — yep, that would be a given because we’re talking about casino games based on randomness, not skill! Anyway, you get the idea — this casino is about as subtle as a brick through a window.

But just for a laugh, let’s take a closer look at the CryptoGames loyalty program… sorry, I mean the “SpaceSatoshi Elite Program.”

Oh good grief.

Player Support

Quality and Speed

Crypto Games casino provides player support via live chat. However, unlike the best crypto casinos, it is not available 24/7 — at the time of writing this review, a message said “We’re away at the moment. Leave a message, and we’ll reply by email.”

A very basic FAQ page is available, and a contact email is also hidden deep in the terms and conditions: support@crypto-games.io.

Crypto-Games did not appear to have any social media presence at all.

User Experience & Website Design

Navigation, layout, and performance

While CryptoGames casino looks smart enough at first glance, it doesn’t take long to realize this platform is, well, let’s say “half-baked.” Really, browsing games and categorization is a joke, and some of the content is extremely misleading. However, at least everything seems to work — I didn’t find any dead links.

As I’m sure you’ve already guessed, CryptoGames crypto casino pays scant attention to responsible gambling. Sure, there’s the usual page with some basic info, but you’ve got to contact support to set limits – there are absolutely no self-help safer gambling tools here.

For proper safer gambling tools and advice, we recommend visiting GambleAware.

Overall Reputation

Okay, so that’s what Crypto Games casino offers in terms of product, but what do players think of it?

Well, as always, it’s important to appreciate that most reviews are from affiliates so can’t be trusted, and even supposedly unbiased platforms like Trustpilot are now swamped with fake reviews. But to satisfy curiosity if nothing else, here were some ratings at the time of writing:

PlatformOverall RatingNotes

Crypto-Games.io

Okay, so what’s my final take on Crypto-Games.io? Well, to put it bluntly, this casino is atrocious.

CoinbetS Expert Review

Verdict

Okay, so what’s my final take on Crypto-Games.io? Well, to put it bluntly, this casino is atrocious

Sure it looks okay on the surface, but there’s no getting around the fact that it’s completely unlicensed and based in Costa Rica. It also makes highly misleading claims regarding the rakeback, provably fair games, and its Trustpilot rating. Plus, the casino’s general terms and conditions are vague and questionable, particularly when it comes to prohibited jurisdictions and VPN use.

Beyond that, while there are plenty of games, browning and searching is clunky and frustrating, the welcome bonus isn’t great, the promos lineup is anemic, and the loyalty/VIP program isn’t exactly fantastic. And then there’s the fact that this most definitely isn’t a Web3 casino, and has no real crypto features beyond payments. The icing on the cake is the alarming number of terrible ratings on Trustpilot (in isolation, I’d take these with a pinch of salt, but from what I’ve seen of this casino, I’m leaning towards believing them).

Quite simply, I can’t think of any reason to use this casino when there are so many better alternatives. But if you do feel compelled to try it, I highly recommend keeping your balance low and making frequent withdrawals.

But, that’s just what I think. How about you? Have you played at Crypto-Games.io? If so, why not write a CoinBets review and share your thoughts with the player community?

Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay safe and have fun!

The Facts You Need

Crypto Casinos: The Truth Behind the Hype

Most crypto casino review platforms and guides are written by affiliates who earn up to 50% of your losses at the casino. They’re financially incentivized to push the casinos that pay them the most, not the ones that treat players fairly. That’s why you’ll rarely see them warn you about slow withdrawals, unfair terms, or dodgy licenses.

CoinBets is different. We don’t take casino money. We deposit and play with our own funds, then report exactly what we find, the good, the bad, and the scams.

Crypto casinos can be fun and convenient, but they’re not all created equal. Licensing quality, withdrawal speed, bonus terms, and game fairness vary wildly from site to site. Some operate under weak offshore regulators with zero player protection. Others bury restrictive terms that can void your winnings. And in the worst cases? Rigged games, frozen accounts, and unpaid withdrawals.

Our goal is simple: help you spot the red flags before you deposit. That’s why our database lists licensing details, RTP info, payment terms, and verified user reviews so you can make an informed decision, not a hopeful gamble.

But we can’t do it alone. We need players like you to help arm CoinBets with a vault of verified reviews. The more real, documented player experiences we have, the easier it is to hold dodgy crypto casinos accountable and warn others before they lose money. If you’ve played, share your story — together we can make the crypto gambling space safer for everyone.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • What makes a crypto casino trustworthy?

A legitimate license from a regulator with actual enforcement power, transparent terms, fast withdrawals, provably fair games, and a clean track record of paying players without drama.

  • Are unlicensed crypto casinos always scams?

Not always, but you’re gambling with zero safety net. If they refuse to pay you, there’s no regulator to step in. That’s why we flag licensing in every review.

  • What’s “provably fair” and why does it matter?

It’s a cryptographic system that lets you verify game results weren’t manipulated. In plain English: you can prove you weren’t cheated. Without it, you’re trusting the casino’s word.

  • Why are bonuses often a bad deal?

Because the fine print can make them nearly impossible to cash out, with wagering requirements, game restrictions, and withdrawal caps. Our database lists these terms so you can spot the traps.

  • How fast should a crypto casino pay out?

Top-tier sites pay within minutes to a few hours. If withdrawals drag on for days without clear reasons, that’s a red flag.

  • How does CoinBets stay unbiased?

We don’t take affiliate deals or casino funding. We play and test with our own crypto, track every interaction, and publish the results – even when casinos hate it.
