We Tested Gamdom With Real Crypto — Here’s What We Found
Although it was launched in 2016, crypto casino and sportsbook Gamdom got off to a relatively low-key start. Despite this, the site has now established itself as one of the most prominent players in the crypto gambling scene.
In this original CoinBets review, I’ll be putting the Gamdom casino through its paces (using real funds), checking out the games, bonuses, banking options, and overall user experience. I’ll also try to cut through the noise and establish what other players really think about this crypto casino.

In common with virtually all online casinos, the Gamdom portfolio is dominated by slot games. Some of the most popular titles at the time of writing included Le Pharaoh from Hacksaw Gaming, Outsourced from NoLimit City, Angel vs Sinner from Pragmatic Play, and Eldritch Dungeon from Relax Gaming.
Of course, you’ll also find classic hits like Jammin Jars from Push Gaming, Reactoonz from Play’n GO, and Starburst from NetEnt. Megaways fans can choose from slots including The Dog House, Madame Destiny, and Buffalo King, and there’s a decent range of jackpot titles.
Finding slots at Gamdom is pretty easy on the whole. There’s a standard search function, and several categories like Hot Games, New Games, and Top Games. You can also filter results by provider – something you can’t do at a surprising number of online casinos. A particularly nice feature is the “Pick Random” option – it’s a great way to discover new games, and really helps with that scourge of 21st century life, choice overload (yes, Amazon and Netflix – I’m looking at you).

This is what I mean about the “Pick Random” option for slots. I doubt I’d have ever gone for this slot if I was browsing – I mean, I’ve heard of Peter & Sons, but it’s not a provided that I gravitate to. But, I was pleasantly surprised.
Sure, it’s got the Mesoamerican theme that’s been done to death, but the graphics were kind of different, and the growing wilds and cascading symbols made it quite exciting. Despite only placing modest bets, I also managed to hit a fair number of wins.
Folsom Prison (NoLimit City)
The next slot that I landed on using Gamdom’s “Pick Random” feature was Folsom Prison from one of my favorite provides, NoLimit City. Now, I must admit, I’ve played this game before, so I knew what I was in for. And, yes, playing it kind of does feel like serving time.
Mind you, the volatility of this slot is, as the provider itself says, “insane.” So, although you can win up to 75,000 x your bet, the hit frequency is low, so it can get pretty dull if playing with low wagers.

With over 500 games available, Gamdom’s live casino is certainly impressive. Unsurprisingly, the choice is dominated by games from market leading providers Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play Live. However, you’ll also find live dealer games from other providers like Live88 and Amusnet in the mix too, which adds some nice variety.
At the time of writing this Gamdom casino review, Evolution’s live game show Crazy Time was by far the most popular live game. In fact, the provider dominated the rankings, with the next most popular live games being Monopoly Live, Blackjack, Lightning Roulette, Mega Ball, and Deal or No Deal. Only after that did Pragmatic Play Live enter the fray with it’s hit game show Sweet Bonanza Candyland.

Like all the best crypto casinos, Gamdom offers a small selection of provably fair games. These Gamdom Originals include Crash, Roulette, Dice, and HiLo. However, while it’s always good to see provably fair games, there’s nothing that really stands out in terms of originality.

Crash
First, I gave Gamdom’s Crash game a try. It’s a straight-up provably fair crash game, with a simple arrow that moves on an upwards trajectory along a chart. As it climbs higher, the multiplier increases. You simply place a bet and aim to hold your nerve for as long as possible, but cash out before the arrow crashes.
It’s fun enough and works well. But, I can’t help but prefer other crash games like Aviator from Spribe and Zeppelin from Betsolutions. Although the gameplay is essentially the same, the better graphics just make them a little more engaging.
Dice
Again, this is another extremely simple provably fair game from Gamdom. You just place your bet on the roll of a ‘dice’ – which is actually a random number generator ranging from 0-100. You can place your wager on a roll over or roll under, and set the multiplier how you like. If you win, your wager is multiplied by the outcome of the game. To help, you’re provided with you win chance and the profit you’ll make on a win. Like I said, its a super simple game.
Sportsbook
While this Gamdom review is focused on the casino product, it should be noted that the site also offers extensive sports betting. There’s pre-match and live betting, and all the mainstream sports like football, basketball, ice hockey, tennis, American football, MMA, rugby, golf, and horse racing are available.
Gamdom also offers esports betting on a wide range of disciplines. These include Counter-Strike, Dota 2, League of Legends, Rocket League, Valorant, Rainbow Six, HALO, along with eFootball, eBasketball, eHockey, and eCricket.
Note that at Gamdom, the realistic esports (eFootball, eBasketball, etc.) are also listed under the Virtual Sports category. This could cause some confusion as the term ‘Virtual Sports’ is usually used for RNG-based virtual sports simulators, like those offered by Kiron Interactive and Leap Gaming, rather than esports.

With there being no Gamdon casino welcome bonus available, I was expecting there to be at least a few regular promos for existing players. But, nope, there are no deposit bonuses or free spins deals to be found here. Instead there’s a tournament, of sorts.
It’s called ‘King of the Hill’ and seems to have a $10K daily and $1m monthly prize pool – or at least that’s what it looks like. Rankings are determined solely by how much you wager (on any game, or sports and esports betting). To be honest, the information about this tournament is frustratingly limited.

Aesthetically, there’s very little to distinguish Gamdom from other mainstream crypto casinos like BC.Game and Stake.com. Don’t get me wrong, the site is well-designed and looks slick, but oh how I wish a casino operator would have the guts to get a bit creative.
When it comes to responsible gambling, Gamdom has made some effort. You can easily self-exclude for 1, 5, or 8 days. However, that falls far short of best practice. I want to see the ability to self-exclude permanently, and set deposit, wager, loss, and time limits.
Also, Gamdom doesn’t like to make terms and conditions either clear or easy to find. In fairness, this is getting to be par for the course with crypto casinos, and its certainly not the worst I’ve seen. But, I would like to see improvement in this area (and so would many other players judging by other reviews and ratings – we’ll get to that in a moment).

Before I share my personal conclusion, let’s take a minute to look at what other people are saying about Gamdom. Now, before getting into the nitty gritty, it’s important to keep in mind that online casino review and rating sites suffer from several problems.
- Some affiliates will say anything to get you to sign up and play at a casino because they earn money from it and don’t actually care about players at all.
- People who have engaged in irresponsible gambling and lost more money than they can afford, often get very bitter and vindictive. They will often make unreasonable accusations and spread lies to get ‘revenge’ on a casino.

Verdict
Okay, so what are my final thoughts about Gamdom casino?
Well, although Gamdom looks virtually identical to many other crypto casinos, and offers a similar product in terms of games, it does stand out in one way: its focus on rewarding players through a loyalty program rather than traditional bonuses. The lack of a headline-grabbing welcome bonus may put some off, but frequent players will likely find better long-term value in consistent rewards.
The choice of providers and games is impressive – particularly in the live casino. There are also novel features like random game picks and slot battles. The provably fair games are decent, though limited, and a wider variety would be welcome. Overall, I enjoyed playing at Gamdom, and I’m sure you will too.
So, overall, Gamdom is still impressive, but given the fact that it’s now joined the ranks of Costa Rica-based Anjouan-licensed casinos, you’ve got to exercise extreme caution. If something goes wrong, there’s virtually no player protection.
