Whenever I review a casino, I like to look for games I’ve never played before – which is getting increasingly difficult. But Battle Tanks by Evoplay had somehow flown under my radar, despite being launched way back in April 2018.
With a 96% RTP, medium-low volatility rating, and just 9 paylines I was expecting this to deliver quite a few wins, even if they were of low value.
However, after 50 spins, I gave up having only brought in a handful of paltry wins and failing to trigger the bonus game (which actually looks way cooler than the main game). Overall, this slot has an interesting theme – you really don’t see many military slots – decent graphics for its age and could be worth checking out for a longer session.

Risky Mines
If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know I always like to try a little challenge at any crypto casino I review. Typically, I pick an original in-house game, but because JackBit doesn’t have any, I went for one of the instant games from Upgaming instead. Specifically, I chose Mines. Yeah, I know, not very original, but hey, everything here is pretty generic.
To keep things neat, I decided to play 100 x $1 rounds, but I’d spice it up by increasing the number of mines every 10 rounds, starting from the default 5. Hence the CoinBets Challenge name “Risky Mines” – the creativity kills me. Although there is an autoplay option, it doesn’t give nuanced control, so I played manually. And, oh goodness… things didn’t go well. For the first 50 rounds, I had hope – on quite a few rounds I managed to clear a fair sized section of the game board. But as I increased the number of mines, things got tough. Don’t get me wrong, I expected the risk to increase, but it felt like it was increasing exponentially towards the end!
The result? Out of 100 rounds I only managed to cash out two wins, totalling $67.86 – so that’s a real-time RTP of 67.86%, which is far below the official theoretical 99%. Still, it does go to show how real life RTP is very rarely close to theoretical RTP. JackBit is simple, user-friendly, and offers no-wager bonuses, but lacks crypto-native features, original games, and strong RG tools. A decent pick, but not built for true crypto players.
Verdict
For a relatively small operation, JackBit offers a good range of slots, instant wins, table and live casino games from numerous popular developers. Additionally, the welcome bonus is nice and simple with no wagering requirements, crypto support is okay, and there’s a reasonable loyalty program.
However, being a minor casino also has drawbacks. For example, there’s the max win limit of $150,000 per spin. there’s no original in-house provably fair games, and there’s no Web3 crypto wallet support. Plus, the promotional schedule is a bit anemic and responsible gambling tools are inadequate.
So, overall, JackBit is very much middle of the road. It’s an easy-to-use site with more than enough to make it worth trying. But, it’s very much a traditional online casino that happens to accept crypto, rather than a true crypto casino that’s going to appeal to enthusiasts.
