BetFury Review 2025 – Real Crypto (Not a Paid Review)

A Crypto Casino Powerhouse on Paper — But Trust Issues Run Deep

Launched in 2019, BetFury is a popular online crypto casino and sportsbook featuring its own native crypto token (BFG) and ecosystem. In addition to thousands of slots, table, and live casino games, BetFury offers sports betting, futures trading, and DeFi products like staking and crypto loans.

However, before I go any further, there is an issue that needs to be addressed. Since at least mid-2024, some paid internet security programs like Malwarebytes and free services like Windows Defender have strongly recommended against visiting BetFury, warning of malware including worms. Hence, if you do want to try BetFury you may need to add it to your safe list manually, and you should use extra caution.

So, armored up and braving the alleged dangers, I’m going to give BetFury a spin and see what it has to offer. I’ll be playing with real crypto, checking out the welcome offer and other promotions, assessing payment options, and much more. Finally, to get the big picture, I’ll take a look at what other players are saying about this crypto casino.

License and Security

Despite the repeated malware security warnings, Betfury does appear to be a legitimate online gambling site.

BetFury is operated by Universe B Games B.V, which is incorporated in Curaçao (company registration number: 155126). At the time of writing this BetFury casino review, the site was operating under a Certificate of Operation issued by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board (GCB). However, this immediately makes me suspicious, with the old adage “if something seems too good to be true, it usually is” springing to mind. So, let’s break it down and see if this BetFury welcome offer is really any good.

There’s also a “Deposit Bonus Boost” which can increase your bonus by up to 20% – though few details are provided. Wagering is subject to game weighting, with slots and live casino games contributing 100% and BetFury Originals contributing 20%. This is pretty good – at most crypto casinos, live games either contribute either partially or not at all. Wagering for each part of the offer must be completed within 14 days – which again, is more generous than many crypto casinos.

The first thing I’m going to say is that the BetFury welcome bonus is overly complicated. And, there’s only one logical reason any online casino makes offers this convoluted – to confuse players. Not cool. Secondly, although the welcome package information page seems fine at first, there’s a serious problem. Until you are ready to make the deposits, you can’t access the information about the 2nd deposit bonus and 3rd deposit bonus. This lack of transparency is inexcusable. Other casinos (for example, Bitcasino) manage to provide clear terms and conditions, so there’s no valid reason Betfury can’t.

So, overall, the BetFury sign-up bonus package is potentially valuable, and the wagering requirements are about average, but the complexity and lack of transparency are honking big red flags.

Rather surprisingly, the BetFury crypto casino doesn’t have a dedicated category for crash or instant win games. Don’t get me wrong, I found plenty of them, but I had to use the search function, which is rather annoying. Crash titles available include Triple Cash Crash from BetSoft, Speed Crash Dare2Win from Hacksaw, and Adrenaline Rush XCrash from Evoplay. Likewise, if you want to find instant wins like scratchcards, you’ll need to use the search function.

With almost 1,000 live casino games available, BetFury again ranks as one of the best crypto casinos in terms of variety and choice. What can I say about Sweet Bonanza Candyland? It’s pretty much a standard money wheel-type deal, but the edible-looking set just adds that extra something (it’s not the first time Pragmatic Play has lured me in with that marshmallowy goodness).

The game involves placing bets on numbers and bonus games. The wheel is spun, and where the pointer stops dictates the outcome of your bet. Like I said, simple. Don’t be fooled by how simple this BetFury original game is – Cryptos is super “moreish”. All you need to do is place a bet on the random revealing of a line of 5 crypto coins. If they are all different, nothing is returned, 1 pair returns 0.1x your bet, 2 pairs return 2.4x, 3 of a kind returns 3.75x, 3 of a kind and a pair returns 6x, 4 of a kind returns 7x, and 5 of a kind returns an impressive 60x your bet. Now, considering the maximum bet for standard players is $1,000, this game, simple as it is, can deliver some good wins.

The RTP for this game is stated as 98.2%, and in my short time playing I hit quite a few decent wins in the $50 – $80 range, despite placing relatively low bets. Overall, I’d say Cryptos is a great game to play when you’ve only got a few minutes but still want to see some good wins.

Stairs (BetFury)

This BetFury original is cracking – it reminded me of a game I used to play as a kid in the 80s on my old Amstrad called “Rolland on the Ropes” (yep, I’m showing my age there!). When you open the game, you’ll see the BetFury raccoon standing at the bottom left with 13 platforms above him. The aim is to help him climb as high as possible and cash out before getting squished by a falling boulder.

The first thing to do is set your difficulty level from 1-7 and place your bet. Next, you choose a section of the first platform for the raccoon (let’s call him “Fury”) to place his ladder against and climb. As soon as he’s up the ladder, the boulders start dropping – if he’s squished, it’s game over. But, if he survives, you can either cash out or choose another place to climb. The multipliers get as high as x76,125 on the hardest level, so big wins are possible.

After a while, you’ll start feeling sorry for the poor creature.

NFT Lootboxes

Remember a few years ago when Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs were selling for millions on marketplaces like OpenSea? Well, BetFury obviously wanted in on the action so they launched their own NFT Lootboxes. Basically, you select a lootbox that takes your fancy, buy a spin, and see what you win. They contain crypto, free spins, and possibly a “masterpiece” artwork. In fact, according to Binance Square, in 2023, one BetFury player did win a BAYC NFT worth $76,545 from one of these lootboxes.

I expected to like these because I was really into the whole NFT thing a couple of years ago, but, to be honest, it felt like a boring but expensive way to gamble. But, then again, maybe I just need to invest a little more time and crypto before I judge them.

Crypto Futures

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be a professional trader, look no further than BetFury’s crypto futures trading platform. A simple interface lets you bet on the price of a specific crypto asset going up or down, and cash out when you’re killing it. However, while this is a lot of fun and very easy to jump into, don’t let the serious interface fool you – it’s just as much gambling as playing on a slot or betting on a football match.

Sportsbook

Although this BetFury review is primarily focused on the crypto casino, it’s worth noting that the platform also offers comprehensive sports betting and esports betting. Both pre-match and live in-play betting are available on traditional sports like soccer, horse racing, tennis, and basketball, along with esports like FIFA, NBA 2K, Dota 2, and Counter-Strike. A range of separate BetFury bonuses are available for sportsbook bettors.

CoinBets Challenge: Crash Meets Martingale

If you’re a CoinBets regular, you’ll know I like to do a fun challenge at each crypto casino – and this time I thought it would be cool to test a classic gambling strategy on a contemporary game. Specifically, the Martingale strategy on a crash game.

So, I opened up BetFury’s in-house original version of Crash and set up the auto bet to double my bet on each loss, and revert to the original bet on each win. Now, my bankroll wasn’t huge, so I set the starting bet as $1 and let her fly.

All went fairly well for a while, with the high point being an x3 multiplier on a $16 bet on round 13. Unfortunately, save for a small win, the losses piled up, and by round 15 the bet had reached $64. When that lost, I didn’t have the balance to continue the strategy, so called it quits.

Overall, it meant I’d bet $184 and got $76.39 back – a miserable RTP of just 41.53% – despite the official RTP of the game being 99.02%. But hey, in reality, it’s widely accepted that the Martingale strategy requires a pretty big bankroll to stand any chance of success – and even then it’s not a sure thing and very risky. And, of course, RTPs are calculated over millions of test rounds, so over just 20 rounds the actual RTP was never going to be close.

Yep, that table is long and boring, but I included it for a reason – to illustrate how absurd BetFury can be. I mean, I’ve been in the online gambling industry for many years, and I know that some high rollers like to splash the cash, but no one is going to wager $1 billion to become a “BF Legend.” Heck, I very much doubt any individual will wager more than a few million at an online casino over an entire lifetime. Anyone who can gamble that kind of money is probably going to be doing it in Monaco – after arriving on their superyacht or helicopter! It’s hard to take BetFury seriously when you see this kind of thing.

User Experience & Website Design

In terms of visual appearance, BetFury looks very much like most of today’s online casinos – crypto or traditional. Sure, the raccoon mascot is fun, but on the whole, I’d call the design “run of the mill.” The user interface is fine – everything is where you’d expect it to be, and things seem to work. Mostly. The site did crash my browser several times, and as I mentioned before, I’ve received multiple warnings regarding all kinds of security risks. In general, I get the feeling the site is far too resource-intensive and clunky, and it could use a complete overhaul to make it cleaner and more efficient.

At the time of writing, the APY for BTG staking was up to 18.73%, while for stBFG staking it was as high as 37.46%. The total value of BFG locked was over $47m, with just over half of the BFG coming from platform users, and the rest from the BitFury.io team and treasury. BetFury Crypto Loans

BetFury recently launched a DeFi (decentralized finance) product in the form of crypto loans. The platform claims that its interest rate is the “lowest among all CEXs” – at around 6.6% for USDT over a 30-day period. The service places a focus on the loan-to-value (LTV) ratio being flexible – as low as 50% – and having a larger gap between Margin Call LTV and Liquidation LTV, helping users better manage liquidation risks. Currently, 5 loanable cryptocurrencies are supported: BTC, USDT, ETH, BNB, and TRX.

Overall Reputation

Righty, so that’s what BetFury offers – but, what do players really think? Well, the boffins here at CoinBets have analyzed nearly 800 BetFury reviews to find out. But, before we look at the stats, you should keep the following in mind:
