An Unfiltered Look at MetaWin’s Games, Payments, NFTs, and Player Experience
MetaWin went live in 2022, aimed squarely at the younger gaming crowd – something reflected in its Discord-only support. Today, it offers over 1,500 slots, instant win, live dealer, and provably fair casino games, but unusually, no sports or esports betting.
In true CoinBets style, in this original review, I’ll be taking a brutally honest look at exactly what MetaWin has to offer. I’ll be paying particular attention to things like bonuses, payments, games portfolio, rewards, and service.
So, is MetaWin the crypto casino of the future, or just another cookie-cutter copy? Let’s find out.
License and Security
Righty, let’s start by checking out MetaWin’s credentials
Metawin is operated by Asobi N.V., which is incorporated in Curacao. However, it is licensed in Anjouan (No. ALSI-1523 12009-FI3).
Payments for MetaWin are processed by Zoom Net Services Ltd, based in Cyprus (Registration No.HE 410498).
The site connection is secure and the security certificate is valid
Welcome Bonus
At the time of writing this MetaWin crypto casino review, the platform didn’t offer a specific welcome bonus for new casino players.
Opening a New Account
There are several ways to open a player account with MetaWin.
Enter your email address. A sign-in link valid for 15 minutes will be emailed to you. You’ll need to use this system each time you want to log in, too.
Sign up with Google
Connect your Metamask, Coinbase, Phantom, or other Web3 wallet via WalletConnect

Payments
MetaWin supports a good range of popular cryptocurrencies, including memecoins and crypto casino tokens, for deposits and withdrawals.
Crypto Deposits & Withdrawals:

To make a crypto deposit, navigate to your wallet (the wallet symbol), then select either “Web 3 Wallet” and connect your wallet if not already done. Alternatively, select “Transfer Crypto” and then the cryptocurrency (and network if applicable) you’d like to use. You will then be provided with your unique crypto deposit address in both alphanumeric and QR code formats.

To withdraw crypto, open your wallet and select “Withdraw.” Select the appropriate crypto and enter your deposit wallet address. Then state how much you’d like to withdraw. Your available balance, the provider fee, and how much crypto you should receive will be provided. If all looks good, click “Withdraw” to confirm the transaction.

CoinBets.com Tip: Always double-check crypto wallet addresses after pasting them – you don’t want to fall victim to ‘PasteJacking’. This is when hackers exploit the copy-paste function to change wallet addresses to steal funds.
Buying Crypto
If you don’t have any crypto, you can purchase it directly via a MoonPay widget. Simply open your wallet, select “Card Deposit”, and enter how much of which crypto you’d like to buy. Accepted payment methods include Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The total, provider fee, and how much crypto you should receive will be provided. If it all looks good to you, click Deposit [crypto] with MoonPay and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.

Game Selection
In total, the MetaWin games catalog expands to over 1,500 titles – respectable, but nowhere near the range offered by the biggest crypto casinos. As you’d expect, the choice of providers on offer is also relatively limited, at just under 40 brands.
However, on the plus side, there are plenty of filters – ranging from specific features like Free Spins and Tumbling Reels, to themes like Pirates and Wild West – which makes browsing a breeze. Notably, MetaWin stresses that all games are set to the highest return to player (RTP) available from the supplier. Plus, all the games have both RTP and volatility rating clearly displayed under the thumbnails – a nice touch.

Slots make up the bulk of the MetaWin games portfolio, and you’ll find a good mixture of big hits and more obscure titles. Popular slots at the time of writing this MetaWin casino review included Gates of Olympus 1000 and Sweet Bonanza 1000 from Pragmatic Play, RIP City and Le Pharoah from Hacksaw Gaming, and Duck Hunters and San Quentin 2 Death Row from Nolimit City.
As mentioned, the extensive filters make finding new games super easy. For example, if you fancy playing a Steampunk-themed game, select the filter and it throws up titles like The Wild Machine from Pragmatic, Mechanical Orange from BGaming, and Master of Lightning from Popiplay.
Likewise, you can search by game feature – hence, the Megaways filter serves up games like Sumo Supreme Megaways, Madame Destiny Megaways, and Sweet Rush Megaways. It’s also possible to filter games to find the best RTP over the past 24 hours, which will be welcomed by the most statistics-conscious players.
However, there’s no filter available for jackpot slots, and searching only turns up a meagre 15 slots with “jackpot” in their titles – like El Jackpotto from Blueprint and 777 Jackpot Diamond: Hold & Win from Gaming Corps. So, I think it’s safe to say MetaWin isn’t the casino for you if you’re looking for the big progressive jackpot slots!

RIP City (Hacksaw Gaming)
Ah, you can always count on Hacksaw to deliver a well-produced slot, and RIP City is definitely one of those. With its slapstick retro cartoon cat and mouse theme (specifically “Ro$$ the Cat” and “Maxx the Mouse”), this game is simultaneously charming and disturbing!
Features include expanding wilds that can even turn into multipliers, plus two different bonus games – one cat and one mouse. As is typical with Hacksaw slots, there are optional Bonus Buy and FeatureSpins available – the latter activated by increasing your bet size.
As for my experience? Well, it was fun, but after betting 50 USDT, I’d only managed to win back a dismal 13.88 USDT, giving a real RTP of 27.76%. Still, the theoretical RTP ranges from 88.02% to 96.22% – so based on MetaWin’s claims, this version should be the highest rating. Max win is technically 12,500x your bet, and in terms of volatility, it’s rated 3/5.
Skate or Die (Nolimit City)
The next slot I tried was Skate or Die from Nolimit City – another provider that can always be counted on for high production values. As usual, it’s an extremely volatile slot fully loaded with special features. These include an “Extra Sauce Row” above the reels, xNudge, Wild Supreme, Boneyard Spins, xZone Wilds, Scatters, xNudge Wilds, Face Plant Spins, Crasher Game, and Dead Meat Spin! Plus, there are optional Bonus Buy, Nolimit Booster, and Action Spins available. Like I said, fully loaded!
Unfortunately, after placing 50 x 1 USDT bets, I only managed to win back a disappointing 12.036459 USDT… needless to say, my RTP didn’t quite reach the theoretical 96.03%. Still, it was fun, and success with these extremely volatile slots requires a lot of patience, nerves of steel, and of course, a whole lot of luck!
Unfortunately, despite the extensive category and feature filters for slots, there are no specific categories for other types of instant wins, with the exception of plinkos – which gets its own category. This means you need to use the search function (which I found to be very laggy) to find things like crash games. And, even when you do find them, the choice is relatively limited – in fact, I couldn’t find any scratchcards at all.

With just 30 live blackjack, 35 live roulette, and 30 live baccarat games available, the MetaWin live casino is decent but nothing exceptional. Even then, it’s not really quite that many games because they’ve classed Evolution’s first-person titles as live games. Still, there are also live games from Pragmatic Play and Iconic21 to add enough variety for most players.
On the other hand, the live gameshow line-up is quite impressive. In total, there are 35 titles, including hits like Crazy Time and Lightning Storm from Evolution and Mega Wheel and Sweet Bonanza Candyland from Pragmatic Play Live.

While the fact that RNG (random number generator) based table games get a dedicated category makes finding them easy, the selection is limited. In total, there are just 26 titles available, including First Person American Roulette and Dream Catcher from Evolution, Blackjack MH from Play’n GO, and European Roulette from Tada Gaming. The video poker choice is virtually non-existent, limited to Evolution’s First Person Video Poker.

The video bingo and video keno choices are only marginally better than poker, with just 2 of the former and 5 of the latter available. Specific games available include Jackpot Bingo from Tada Gaming and Magic Keno from Atomic Slot Labs.

Although there’s no dedicated category of filters for provably fair games, MetaWin does carry titles from providers like Turbo Games and Spribe. There are also a dozen provably fair MetaWin Originals: Plinko 99, Mines, Pepe’s River Run, Dragon Tower, Limbo, HODL, Crash, Diamonds, Dice, Hi-Lo, Keno, and Blackjack.

If there’s something clear about MetaWin, it’s that this casino loves plinko! As mentioned, they even have a dedicated “Plinkos” category in the main menu – something I’ve never seen before. So, it seems only fitting to choose plinko for today’s CoinBets Challenge. Specifically, I chose the in-house provably fair Plinko 99.
Now, after a run of bad luck on the slots, my aim was simple: get my balance back up above 100 USDT. So, I decided to take the chance of setting the game to high risk and 16 rows. Unlike some plinko games, this is a one-ball-at-a-time affair, which makes each round less visually dramatic, but definitely more tense!
And did my cunning plan work? Well, nope. Unfortunately, after placing 50 x 1 USDT bets, I’d made a small loss, experiencing a real RTP of 92.8% – not as disastrous as the slots I’d played here, but still, not exactly something to write home about. Oh well, there’s always next time.

At the time of writing this MetaWin review, the platform didn’t offer sports or esports betting.
Although there was no specific MetaWin welcome bonus available, at the time of reviewing, there were several promos for existing players. These included:
Cinco de Mayo Celebration – Stake $250 on selected slots to get 25 Free Spins
20 Free Spins Every Friday
Crypto Prize Draws – Enter by using any cryptocurrency in your MetaWin balance to purchase DAPs (delivered on the Base network). For example, buying $6.96 worth of crypto could buy 680 entries for a prize worth $4,280. Prizes are paid in the relevant crypto directly to your balance, with no wagering requirements. The competitions are completed off-chain so there are no gas fees to enter.
Receive 2.5% Cashback On-Chain Competitions – Cashback of competition entries as playable ETH
elegram Boosts –T $80,000 worth of daily reward boosts
Community Giveaways – Prizes and rewards for Discord community members
Note: To participate in on-chain promotions, which award NFT prizes, you will need to have a Web3 non-custodial crypto wallet connected.

Metawin operates a fairly typical multi-tier loyalty scheme, with a total of 7 tiers and 27 sub-levels. Leveling up is based on wagering, and the rewards and perks improve as you do so. The VIP benefits start at the Platinum tier, with an invite to the Salon Rouge club being received when you hit the Diamond tier.

Unfortunately, customer support is one area in which MetaWin fails miserably. Support is only available via Discord. No live chat, no email. Now, don’t get me wrong, Discord is a great platform – I use it myself. But would I ever sign up for a casino that only offered support via Discord? Nope.
In addition to Discord, you can also connect with MetaWin via social media platforms including X (Twitter), Instagram, and Telegram.

MetaWinners NFTs
MetaWin has minted a range of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) called “MetaWinners”, which are available on the OpenSea marketplace. In total, there are 10,000 NFTs, and there did seem to be a relatively active market for them (relative compared to the majority of crypto casino NFTs, which tend to be dead).
As far as can tell, unlike the NFTs offered by platforms like TG.Casino, which give holders specifically listed perks and rewards, the MetaWin casinos are principally just art collectibles (although they do entitle holders to access the special MetaWinners area of the casino). However, they were designed by Terraform Labs – the concept art studio behind projects including Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Avatar 2, Thor, and Destiny 2.
$MWIN Token
MetaWin also references an upcoming MWIN token. However, other than the fact that you can earn an $MWIN allocation on launch by collecting points through “activity”, no further information is provided.
At this point I need to get one thing off my chest regarding MetaWin – the damned chat feature that keeps intruding on the screen. Good grief! Having to keep minimizing it gets extremely tedious. Also, I would say that the site seems very laggy and slow at times – possibly because it is too bloated.
Thankfully, when the site does run smoothly, most things are easy enough to find. The ability to connect Web3 crypto wallets does make payments much more convenient, too. Another nice related feature is the crypto Bridge, which allows you to exchange tokens via LI.FI for a small fee.
However, it’s clear that those behind MetaWin couldn’t care less about responsible gambling. Of course, there’s a standard page linked from the footer, which says all the standard stuff, but there are no safer gambling tools. Also, unlike the best crypto casinos, MetaWin is only available in English, severely limiting its international accessibility.
While there is no dedicated standalone MetaWin mobile app for Android or iOS devices, the web platform has been optimized for mobile browsers. Additionally, you can access MetaWin casino via the Telegram app.
Right, so that’s everything MetaWin offers players, but what about its wider reputation? Well, as I always say, it’s hard to tell. After all, most reviews and feedback out there are biased or outright fake. Still, out of interest, here are some ratings from popular platforms:
Platform | Overall Rating | Notes |
---|---|---|
![]() | 2.6 Poor | (based on 124 reviews) |
![]() | Overall: 6.3/10 | Safety Index: Below Average |
![]() | CasinoRank: 5.1 | Player Rating: 1 (1 review) |
![]() | Overall: 4.2/5 |
As you can see, the ratings are mixed. However, we should remember that, just as casinos and affiliates can use fraudulent reviews to launder a casino’s reputation, competitors can also use them to damage a casino.

MetaWin
MetaWin offers slick design, broad crypto support, and unique NFTs, but limited games, Discord-only support, site lag, and mixed reviews mean it’s best approached with caution and small deposits.

Verdict
Okay, so what’s the final verdict on MetaWin? Well, this is another tough one to call. On the one hand, this crypto casino has a lot going for it. It looks good, it’s well organized, it doesn’t try to trick people with a cynical welcome bonus, it supports plenty of cryptos, and the NFTs are very interesting.
However, it also has some serious issues. For example, support is only available via Discord, the game selection is limited compared to many competitors, and the site itself was often slow and laggy. And of course, MetaWin is only a casino – so it’s not for you if you’re looking for a crypto gambling platform with a sportsbook. And then, there’s the negative ratings on platforms like Trustpilot – though, as explained, they have to be considered in context.
All things considered, MetaWin is promising, but if you do join, I’d recommend treading cautiously until you feel you can trust the platform. Consider keeping deposits relatively low and making frequent, smaller withdrawals while you test the waters.
Of course, that’s just what I think. How about you? Have you played at Metawin? If so, why not write a CoinBets review and share your views with the player community?
Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay safe and good luck!
