Moon Roll Crypto Casino Review + Welcome Bonus 2025

Online since 2022, Moon Roll casino is a  Curaçao-based, Anjouan-licensed, Solana-centric hybrid platform. It offers a couple of thousand slots, a small live casino, and a tiny selection of original, supposedly provably fair games. It also claims to have a sportsbook – though that wasn’t working at the time of writing this review.

However, despite its popularity with US and Australian players (according to Ahrefs and Similarweb), Moonroll.io seems to have a reputation problem, and within minutes of arriving, the red flags were evident. So, while it has some interesting features, including a native crypto token and range of NFTs, is this casino really worth risking your crypto at?

In this original CoinBets review, I’ll be signing up and wagering real crypto to find out.

License and Security

image description

Moonrooll.io is owned and operated by Space Gaming B.V., based in Curaçao. Despite this, it is operating under an Anjouan license.

The site connection is secure and the security certificate is valid

Welcome Bonus

At the time of writing this Moon Roll review, new players could take advantage of a 100% first deposit bonus up to $1,000

Sounds fair enough – but let’s look under the hood.

Minimum deposit $20
Max bet while using bonus is $10
Wagering requirement is 35x (deposit + bonus)

Okay, so while at first glance the Moonroll welcome bonus looks okay, I’ve already noted a few red flags. First up, it’s the horrible deposit + bonus based wagering, as opposed to the more honest bonus only based wagering. So, in effect, you’ve got to wager 70x your bonus amount.

Next up, while some terms and conditions are provided on the promo page itself, details are sketchy. For example, there are no details about time limits – even on the full Bonus Terms & Conditions page linked in the footer.

All things considered, this feels half-baked. If you do use it, I strongly recommend proceeding with caution.

Opening a New Account

At least getting up and running with Moon Roll crypto casino is quick and easy, with a few sign up options available:

Enter your email address, choose a username and set a strong password. Confirm you’re at least 18 years old and have agreed to the Terms and Conditions. Verify you’re a human, and tap “Register.”

Sign up with Google

Connect your Phantom, Solflare, Torus, or Ledger crypto wallet

Important: Be aware that an Anjouan license technically prohibits players from many markets, including the US, UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Sweden. As things stand, you can probably use a VPN to bypass any geoblocks, but be aware that the casino operator does reserve the right to close accounts and confiscate balances if you break the Terms and Conditions.

Payments

Moonroll.io supports a reasonable range of cryptos withdrawals – although memecoin users may be disappointed.

To make a crypto deposit, tap the green “Wallet” tab, select your desired cryptocurrency (and network if applicable), and you’ll be provided with a unique deposit address in both text and QR code format.

To withdraw crypto, open your wallet and select “Withdraw”, then choose your crypto (and network if applicable). Paste the address of the wallet you want to transfer funds to and enter the withdrawal amount. Estimated fees will be stated. If everything looks good, tap the green “Withdraw” tab.

CoinBets.com Tip: Always double-check crypto wallet addresses after pasting them – you don’t want to fall victim to ‘PasteJacking’. This is when hackers exploit the copy-paste function to change wallet addresses to steal funds.

Moonroll also supports fiat options including Mastercard and bank transfer.

Buying Crypto

Unlike the best crypto casinos, at the time of writing, Moon Roll did not allow you to buy crypto on-site via third parties like MoonPay or Changelly

Game Selection

When writing this review, Moon Roll casino carried around 30 game providers, and although no total number of games was provided, the selection seemed relatively limited – probably around the 2,000 mark. The lobby itself looks neat but is actually poorly organized with only the bare minimum categories and filters, making browsing a frustrating experience.

ico-slot-machine

Slots

Unsurprisingly, the bulk of the Moon Roll games catalog consists of slots from the usual suspects: Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, BGaming, and NoLimit City. At the time of writing this MoonRoll review, the most popular slots were Rainbow Princess, Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter, Big Tuna Bonanza, and Gates of Olympus Super Scatter

As mentioned, there’s a distinct lack of useful filters and categories here. For example, you can’t sort by features like Bonus Buy or jackpot, or parameters like RTP. Nope, it’s just A-Z, popularity, new releases, and providers. So, while finding Megaways slots, e.g. Zombie School Megaways and Book of Panda Megaways, is easy enough, locating anything more nuanced is a chore.

CoinBets Experience

Big Tuna Bonanza (BGaming)

Occasionally, I think there might be too many fishing slots on the market. I mean, seriously, it feels like every other game involves an old guy with a beard trying to land a big catch. But even so, you’ve got to love em’. Case in point, Big Tuna Bonanza from BGaming. Yep, I went into this expecting it to be more of the same – stats wise, it looks pretty standard: 97.2% RTP, medium volatility, 5,000x max win, and 10 betways.

However, the bonus game. Wow – it really delivered! First up, free spins seemed to be pretty achievable, but then during the free spins, if you collect the fisherman symbol, you can win more spins with increasing multipliers.

Oh, and there’s the cheesy “oh my gosh” catchphrase and laugh which, for some unfathomable reason, adds a kind of weird likability.

Anyways, after playing 50 x $1 rounds, I’d reeled in an prize-winning $174.30 – making for an impressive reel-time RTP of 348.6%

Yep, I’ll be heading out on the boat with grandpa again soon!

Sea Men (NoLimit City)

Staying with men on boats, I figured I’d see what all the fuss was about with NoLimit City’s latest hit – the cheekily titled Sea Men

Yep, given the title and knowing what this provider is like in terms of pushing boundaries, I braced myself for something obscene. But, in reality, it’s more retro-style visual innuendos than explicit. But either way, it’s still definitely aimed at a certain market!

In terms of specs, in true NoLimit City style, it’s highly volatile and packed with features. These include Win Respins, Bombs, Super Rigged Spins, Coconut Spins (NoLimit Booster), Fire Frames, Molotov Fire, Big Load Spins (NoLimit Booster), Extra Spins… xWays, Rigged Spins, Bigger Load Spins (NoLimit Booster), and finally, Riding Moby Dick. Yep, like I said, innuendos.

The theoretical RTP for Sea Men is a middle of the road 96.04%, but the max win is a very respectable 20,000x your bet. Though there is only a 1 in 41 million chance of hitting that. Still, if you’re brave enough to board the “White Pearl”, you’ll find plenty of action… I mean spinning and winning!

However, my voyage didn’t turn out so well. After 50 x $1 spins, I’d only managed to win back a paltry $20.75, giving a real RTP of just 41.5%

Perhaps my head just wasn’t in the game?

Crash & Instant Wins

Oh give me strength! Why do crypto casinos do this? Yep, Moon Roll does have some crash games and other instant wins, but has just lumped them in with slots. So, the only way to find them is if you know the name, or spending ages scrolling. Very annoying

Still, if you’ve got the patience, you will find crash games like Speed Crash from Hacksaw and Space XY from BGaming. Likewise, digital scratchcards are available, including the popular Chaos Crew Scratch, Scratch Alpaca series, and Happy Scratch.

Live Casino

At the time of writing, the Moon Roll live casino was a bit of a mess. Selecting “Live Casino” opened a lobby littered with first person games from Evolution (not live), Bet with Streamer options, and a handful of live game shows like Crazy Time, Funky Time and Monopoly. However, you can access more live blackjack, roulette, and baccarat from Pragmatic Play – just tap the tabs to open the relevant live lobbies.

ico-cards-card-game-poker

Table Games and Video Poker

Again, the organization at Moon Roll is a mess. There’s no “Table Games” section in the navigation menu, but if you click “Roulette” you’ll open a page titled “Table Games”… that contains slots.

Yeah, whenever you see this kind of thing, you know the team behind the casino haven’t even bothered to check the navigation. And you can extrapolate a lot from that. Regardless, except for the previously mentioned first-person titles from Evolution, there didn’t seem to be any RNG-based table games available.

ico-grid-3x3-gap-fill

Bingo and Keno

Searching for “Bingo” served up a handful of options, including Rainforest Magic Bingo and Sweet Alchemy Bingo from Play’n GO, while “Keno” turned up nothing at all. Meh.

Provably Fair Games

Moonroll.io casino offered a very small range of what it claims to be provably fair original games, namely: Limbo, Dice, Mines, Plinko, and Lootboxes. However, there’s a big red flag that suggests things might not be as fair as the casino wants you to think. Specifically, you can’t see the seeds until after your game has finished.

For more information about how it should work, check out the CoinBets Introduction to Provably Fair Gaming.

CoinBets Challenge: Plinkoed

Right, time to put one of the Moon Roll Originals through its paces. And, with just 5 options to choose from, it didn’t take long to settle on Plinko. Yep, you can always rely on Plinko.

So, for today’s CoinBets Challenge, I shook things up a little, and started with 25 x $2 balls dropped with high risk settings and 16 pockets. This gave a maximum possible win of 1,000x. Then, I’d try and beat the result by dropping 25 x $2 balls with things set to low risk and 16 pockets – which gave a max potential win of just 16x. Clearly, the high risk has a vastly bigger win potential, but with just 25 balls, would I win anything?

Well, the high risk drops ended up bringing in $39.40 – a so-so RTP of 78.8% (actually, not bad considering the settings and number of rounds).

And the low risk drops? The netted me a slight profit, bringing in $53, meaning a real RTP of 106%

Challenge completed! At last!

Unfortunately, checking the fairness of games here at Moon Roll leaves a lot to be desired. You need to open your game history, find the round, then go to the verification page (linked in the footer) and enter your details. The problem is, the seeds don’t seem to be visible before you play, and I couldn’t find a way to change the player seed. I’m not saying it is dodgy, but it’s certainly not user friendly, and makes me wonder.

Sportsbook

Although Moon Roll claims to offer sports betting and esports betting, at the time of reviewing, the sportsbook was unavailable. The promo offers were visible, but everything else? Gone. Just a black screen.

Promotional Offers

In addition to the Moonroll casino welcome bonus, several promotions were available for existing players:

$5,000 Weekly Race – Slot wager race with a first prize of $2,500.

Challenges –  Cash prizes for hitting multiplier targets on selected slots

Social Rewards – Join Moon Roll on Discord and Telegram to get exclusive rewards and daily codes.

$10k MRC  Lottery – Wager $MRC to earn points and a chance to win prizes, including a first prize of $5,000.

NFT Holders 100 Free Spins – Every Friday, one staking Moon Roll NFT holder gets 100 free spins on a Pragmatic Play slot.

ico-vip-white

Loyalty Program & VIP Club

The Moon Roll VIP club is a typical, uninspiring multi-tier affair with 7 main tiers, but 31 if you include the sub levels. You’ll start at Wood, and progress through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, with the ultimate tier being Obsidian

Unfortunately, but perhaps not surprisingly, it’s all rather opaque. Potential rewards include rakeback, level-up rewards, daily, weekly, and monthly bonuses, a daily lootbox, a lossback bonus, and a VIP host – but specifics for each level are lacking.

One thing worth noting, Moon Roll casino offers a VIP transfer option, claiming to match your rank and give you “even better rewards than before.”

Player Support

Moon Roll casino provides player support via live chat and email (support@moonroll.io). There’s also a basic FAQ section with information about getting started, deposits and withdrawals, account security, etc.

You can also connect with Moon Roll casino on social media platforms including X (Twitter), Discord, and Telegram.

ico-dashboard-speed-01-solid-standard

User Experience & Website Design

At first, Moon Roll looks like a thousand other crypto casinos – so, it’s probably using an off-the-shelf white label solution. However, as already mentioned, important information is missing, there’s a distinct lack of useful filters, and the categories are a mess. Basically, it feels like the “team” behind this casino threw it together in 5 minutes and haven’t even bothered to check the basics.

Given this, you won’t be surprised to learn there are absolutely zero safer gambling tools available. Sure, there’s the usual blurb about responsible gambling linked from the footer – but nothing at all of substance.

In addition to English, Moonroll.io is available in:

Mobile apps

There is no dedicated Moonroll.io mobile app available for either Android or iOS devices. However, the web-based casino has been optimized to run on mobile browsers, so it still works fine on smartphones and tablets.

Tokenization and NFTs

Moon Roll casino has a native Solana-based token called Moon Roll Coin (MRC). Launched in July 2024, at the time of writing, MRC was trading at $0.002645 (CoinGecko). By using the token at Moonroll.io users can participate in the weekly lottery and earn rewards via MRC airdrops.

The total and max supply of MRC is 854,105,260. At the time of writing, in mid August 2025, 82.83% of MRC was in circulation and 17.17% had already been burned. The market cap stood at $2.20M, with a 24 hour volume of $12.13K. MRC can be purchased and traded at decentralized exchanges including Orca, though volume is very low (less than $1,500 in the 24 hours prior to writing this).

Moon Roll casino also has a range of 4,444 Solana-based NFTs (non-fungible tokens) called “Moon Rollers.” You can buy and trade them at the Magic Eden marketplace, and at the time of reviewing, the floor price was standing at 0.395 SOL. There was some activity, with 11 sales over the previous 24 hours, while the market cap stood at $288.9K and there were a total of 421 Moon Roller NFT holders.

According to the Moon Roll whitepaper, those staking their Moon Rollers earn a 20% share of the platform’s revenue, paid in $MRC tokens.

Overall Reputation

Right, so that’s what Moon Roll casino offers in terms of product, but what are people saying about it? Well, as always, it’s hard to tell – most of the content out there is published by highly biased affiliates. But, out of curiosity, here are the ratings from some popular casino review sites:

Unusually for a crypto casino that’s been operating for years, reviews of Moonrool.io are thin on the ground. And, as you can see, based on what is available, it’s not looking good.

Verdict

Okay, so we’ve seen what Moonroll.io casino offers, but what’s my overall impression? Well, pretty poor to be honest.

It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced such a glitchy casino. The whole thing feels half-baked and like no one really cares. Now, to an extent, I’d have more patience if this was a brand new casino – everyone has teething troubles – but this is quite a well established platform, so there’s no excuse.

Additionally, the games portfolio is limited for such an established platform, important information is missing, and the wagering requirements are horrible. And when it comes to the Moon Roll Coin and Moon Rollers NFTs? Well, I’ll give them points for trying, and they don’t seem like a total disaster – but I’d caution against getting too invested in either. To me, they seem shaky at best.

Then, we’ve got the Curacao-based business with an Anjouan license. Both licenses prohibit virtually the same countries, so the switch to Anjouan was clearly because the operator didn’t want to comply with the new, stricter standards in Curacao. And in all honesty, you could argue that’s fair enough – after all, at least it means the VPN loophole can still work for players in markets like the US and UK. But, Anjouan provides essentially zero player protection, so keep in mind the casino might close your account and seize your funds on the flimsiest of excuses.

The brutal truth is, I can’t see any reason for playing at Moonroll.io – and when you factor in concerning ratings and reviews, I’d say it’s best to give it a miss. However, if you really must give this casino a try, you should keep your balance low and make frequent withdrawals.

But, that’s just what I think. How about you? Have you played at Moon Roll casino? If so, why not write a CoinBets review and share your thoughts with the player community?

Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay safe and have fun!
