At the time of writing, Kalamba’s Alien Eggstractors was ranked as one of the most popular slots at Metaspins, and with a name like that, I had to try it! And I have to admit, this aliens vs chickens themed slot, which involves extraterrestrials poaching “hen-ergy” from an Earthly chicken shed, is a lot of fun.
The cartoon graphics and animations are nicely done, and features include K-Cash, a Free Spins Bonus Game, Hyperbet, and a Buy Bonus option. It’s rated as extremely volatile, has 16,635 ways, and comes in variants with RTPs ranging from just 88% to 96%.
I’ve got a feeling Metapsins is using a low RTP version, as after placing 50 x 1 USDT bets, I’d only managed to win back 32.60 – giving a real RTP of just 65.20%. Still, it was entertaining, so I’d say it’s worth a few spins.
Miami Rise (Red Tiger)
If you like the retro 80s/90s Miami Vice/GTA Florida vibe, you’re going to love Miami Rise from Red Tiger. I particularly like the car on the left – that looks like a Ferrari 308 and a Nissan 300ZX had a romantic liaison. In keeping with the visual theme, the gameplay centres around climbing the ranks of an organized crime outfit – and the process is, appropriately, highly volatile!

However, I just played 50 x 1 USDT bets, without buying extras, and still managed to score a decent profit, winning a total of 86.40 USDT – equating to a very respectable real RTP of 172.80%.

Unfortunately, unlike the best crypto casinos, Metaspins doesn’t appear to offer any in-house original titles.
Metaspins CoinBets Challenge Take: Sweet Bonanza 1000 (Pragmatic Play)
Our real-money gameplay results
Originally, I was going to do a CoinBets Challenge on Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza 1000 slot — ranked as one of the most popular at Metaspins. My plan was to start off with 50 x $2 bets, and if that made me a profit, place another 50 bets, but double the wager amount. If my bankroll held, I’d place another 50 and double the bet amount again… and so on.
Could have been exciting, eh?
Well, Metaspins had other ideas. After just 37 spins, the game crashed.
By that point, I’d wagered 74 USDT and won back 64.40, giving me an actual RTP of 87.02% — a fair bit lower than the theoretical 96.53%. Still, a few decent wins could have turned that around in the find 13 spins — but I didn’t feel like I could trust this slot to function, so I decided to move on.
Metaspins CoinBets Challenge Take 2: Fire in the Hole 2 (Nolimit City)
For my second attempt, I chose Fire in the Hole 2 by Nolimit City — a provider you can always count on to provide intense action, even if it doesn’t always deliver big wins!
Indeed, in typical Nolimit-style, Fire in the Hole 2 is packed with features: Collapsing Mine, Wild Mining, Lucky Wagon Spins, Buried Features, xBet, xBomb Wild Multiplier, xSplit, plus Bonus Buy and NoLimit Action Spins options. The theoretical RTP is 96.07%, the max win is a huge 65,000x your bet, and the volatility is, like the gameplay, insane.
But I was feeling dangerous! So, with my balance standing at about $120.25, I decided to throw caution to the wind and see how long I could keep up $5 bets. Of course, that would cover at least 25 spins, but my aim was to get at least 50 in.
Easy, with all those wins I was going to dig up. Right?
Erm… nope. I only managed to fund 35 spins before my balance failed. And my real RTP? A miserable 33.86%.

In terms of design, Metaspins is very similar to countless other crypto gambling platforms. However, the casino does seem a little bit less cluttered than many, resulting in a subtly smoother and more pleasant experience.
For the most part, everything seems to work (a game did crash – but no funds were lost), and navigation is intuitive. Terms are clear and readily available, and games seem to be correctly categorized (even if more granular filters would be nice).
Unfortunately, like so many of its competitors, Metaspins fails miserably when it comes to responsible gambling. In fact, while there is mention of a self-exclusion policy, there’s essentially no responsible gambling information or resources, let alone safer gambling tools. Not cool.
Metapsins is only available in English, German, and French – a very limited range compared to most of today’s crypto casinos.
Mobile apps

Overall Reputation
As anyone who’s been in the crypto casino space for any length of time knows, it’s insanely difficult to judge a casino’s reputation these days. Review sites are flooded with fake feedback, and 99% of the content out there has been written by casino affiliates.

While the ratings at affiliate sites like Casino Guru and AskGamblers should be taken with a very large pinch of salt, the Trustpilot reviews are concerning.
Now, it is true that Trustpilot has a massive issue with fake reviews (find out how to avoid them and other crypto casino scams), but these don’t fit the usual pattern. Normally, fake reviews tend to be gushing 5-star positives, but the vast majority here are authentic-sounding 1-star negatives.
So, they are worth a closer look.
Most seem to center around Metaspins using excuses to confiscate funds — whether it’s the good old “multiple accounts” terms breach, or “you’re playing from a prohibited jurisdiction” trap. It’s also alleged that the operator, Metaspins N.V. is just a shell company set up by Dama N.V. — one of the biggest and most controversial crypto casino operators.
Further indicating the “prohibited jurisdiction trap” might be central to Metaspins’ business model is the fact that, according to Ahrefs, about 50% of the platform’s organic traffic comes from the United States and the United Kingdom — both of which are prohibited jurisdictions. And yes, I know, that is just organic traffic — but it’s still an indicator.

Metaspins offers clear terms and decent rewards, but limited crypto, no safeguards, Dama ties, and payout complaints undermine trust.
Verdict
So, what’s my overall take on Metaspins crypto casino?
Well, on the one hand, the platform seems solid, the games portfolio is decent, and there are enough bonuses and rewards to keep things exciting. A big plus is that while the bonus terms are fairly typical, at least they are readily available and clearly written.
However, sign-up options and crypto support are limited, there aren’t any in-house games or unique crypto-specific features, and the casino has no responsible gambling tools or resources to speak of. Add to this the concerns raised by reviewers on Truspilot – especially regarding problems with payouts and links to Dama NV – and the picture doesn’t look so great.
Basically, if you are going to try Metaspins, don’t give the operator an excuse to seize your funds. Make sure you aren’t from a prohibited jurisdiction, don’t use a VPN, keep your balance low, and make frequent withdrawals.
