OG Crypto Casino Keeping Things Simple – But Can it Still Compete?
Launched way back in 2015, Oshi casino is one of the oldest in the vast Dama N.V. portfolio. Unlike many newer crypto gambling platforms, it’s a pure casino, offering slots, instant wins, table games, and live casino games – but no sportsbook. Indeed, one of this casino’s biggest selling points is its simple, clean, user-friendly interface.
But can Oshi.io still compete in such a crowded crypto casino space? In this original CoinBets review, I’m going to find out. I’ll be signing up and wagering real crypto, analyzing the Oshi casino welcome bonus, payment options, games catalog, VIP program and more.
And remember, CoinBets isn’t a casino affiliate, so I’m going to be giving you the no hold-barred truth.

At the time of writing this Oshi casino review, the platform was offering a new player welcome package worth up to $/€4,000 + 200 free spins.
But, is it as good as it first seems? Let’s take a closer look.
First Deposit – 100% Bonus up to $1,000 + 150 Free Spins
Second Deposit – 75% Bonus up to $1,000
Third Deposit – 50% Bonus up to $1,000 + 50 Free Spins
Fourth Deposit – 100% Bonus up to $1,000
The minimum qualifying deposit is $/€20, and the wagering requirement is 40x, which must be completed in 5 days. Free spins need to be activated (in the promo section of your account) and are awarded in daily batches. Free spins are for the following games: Olympus Trueways, All-Star Fruits, Joker’s Million, Plinko 2, Wild West Trueways, Wolf Spins 243, Werewolf’s Night, Book of All Ways, and Hold the Gold.
Overall, the Oshi casino welcome bonus seems to sit just on the right side of average. The minimum deposit is fair, the wagering is middle of the road, and the free spins are on a good variety of games.

Getting up and running at Oshi crypto casino is quick and easy – though there is only one option.
Enter your email address, choose a strong password, select your country and currency. Confirm you’re over 18 and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, set your marketing preferences, and tap “Sign Up.”

Payments
Oshi.io supports a modest range of mainstream cryptos – but memecoin and privacy coin fans are out of luck here.
To make a crypto deposit, tap the teal “Deposit” tab, select your desired crypto, and you’ll be provided with your unique wallet address in QR code and text formats. At this point you’ll also find bonus options and can opt into the lotteries.

To withdraw crypto, open your wallet (under “My Account”) and select “Withdrawal”. Select your desired cryptocurrency and enter the amount you want to transfer. Paste in your destination wallet address, and confirm your mobile phone number. If all looks good click “Withdraw XXX” to submit the request.

Note: At the time of writing Oshi.io casino only supported ERC20 addresses on the Ethereum blockchain.
CoinBets.com Tip: Always double-check crypto wallet addresses after pasting them – you don’t want to fall victim to ‘PasteJacking’. This is when hackers exploit the copy-paste function to change wallet addresses to steal funds.
Oshi.io also supports fiat options including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, GPay, Skrill, MiFinity, Jetonbank, Flexepin, and Paysafecard.
Buying Crypto
Unlike the best crypto casinos, Oshi doesn’t offer the ability to purchase crypto directly via third parties like MoonPay or Changelly.
Game Selection
When writing this Oshi casino review, the platform carried over 3,300 casino games of all types, from over 100 providers. The game lobby is very clean and well organized, with plenty of useful filters for game features and types, including Bonus Buy, Jackpot, Drops&Wins, New Games and more.

In common with most crypto casinos, slots make up the vast bulk of the Oshi casino portfolio. At the time of writing, the most popular slots included Gates of Olympus 1000 and Sweet Bonanza 1000 from Pragmatic Play, Elvis Frog in Vegas Hold and Win from Bgaming, and more surprisingly, Lucky Retro Fruits and Retro Mega Fruits from 1spin4win.
Finding specific features is simple thanks to the filters. For example, Megaways fans can go straight to games like Doggy Riches Megaways from Red Tiger and Howling Wolves Megaways from Booming. Likewise, tapping “Jackpots” will serve up titles like TeslaMania from Gamebeat and Absolutely Mammoth! Power Play Jackpot from Playtech.

Chinese Express (Onlyplay)

Over the years, I’ve seen plenty of Chinese-themed slots and lots of train-themed slots, but never a Chinese train-themed game. So, Chinese Express from Onlyplay popped up, so I had to give it a try. And, I’m glad I did because this slot really got up some steam and started delivering the moment we left the station.
But more on that in a moment. First, let’s look at the slot’s specs. It’s got a theoretical RTP of 95.36%, has 20 betways, and has a volatility rating of medium. Features include multipliers, random multipliers, scatters, and wilds, and the maximum win is a very attractive 45,000x your bet. Overall, gameplay is fast and surprisingly engaging – helped by the speed and sound effects.

So, how did my trip aboard the express go? Well, after 50 x $1 spins, I’d won back $88.25 – making a real RTP of 176.5%.
Not bad at all.I’ll definitely be buying another ticket for this journey.
Fruit Vegas Extreme x125 (Mascot Gaming)

Mascot is one of those game providers that tends to fly under my radar. I’m not sure why, I’ve played some good slots from them before – it’s probably more that the bigger studios just hog the limelight. Anyway, something about Fruit Vegas Extreme x125 caught my eye (probably the terrifying clown on the thumbnail).
As the name suggests, it’s a fruit machine – but the graphics are crisper than you’d expect, and the expanding symbols, random multipliers, respin wilds, sticky wilds, and wilds with multipliers add surprising depth to the gameplay. There’s also a risk gamble game, and a respectable max win of 12,500x your bet. As for other specs, it’s highly volatile, has 10 paylines, and a relatively low official RTP of 94.5%.
However, after 50x $1 bets, I’d only managed to claw back $29.20, giving a disappointing real RTP of just 58.4%. Even so, this slot is definitely worth trying if you fancy some old-school fruit machine action with modern graphics and features.
Again, a dedicated category makes finding crash games easy here at Oshi.io. However, strictly speaking, this is more of an “instant wins” category – also containing plinko, dice, and other types of casual games, including provably fair titles.
Specifically on the crash games front, you’ll find options like JetX from Smartsoft, Aviator from Spribe, High Flyer from Pragmatic Play, and Top Eagle from BGaming.

The Oshi live casino is dominated by the usual suspects: Evolution and Pragmatic Play. So you’ll find all the hit live blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker tables you’d expect. Additionally, there’s a good choice of live dealer games from Playtech, Ezugo, and Luckystreak.
Unfortunately, despite the good organization elsewhere, there’s no category or filter for live game shows here. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty available, from Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza Candyland and Evolution’s Crazy Time, to Playtech’s The Money Drop Live, but you’ll have to search for them.

There’s also no dedicated category for RNG-based table games here at Oshi.io.
There are filters for roulette, card games, and blackjack, but they will serve up live dealer games too. Still, if you’ve got the patience, you’ll find options like European Roulette from Platipus and Belatra, and American Blackjack and Baccarat from Nucleus.
There is a video poker category, but that only has 13 games. Specific games available include 4 of a Kind Bonus Poker and Jacks or Better from Amusnet, Deuces Wild from Bsg, and Video Poker from Evoplay.

If video bingo is your thing, you’ll need to use the search function – but there are actually around 60 games available, which is pretty good. Titles include Just a Bingo and Bingo Soccer from Belatra, Banana Bingo and Bingo Billion Llama from Caleta Gaming, and Extra Bingo from VoltEnt. The keno choice is smaller at 16 titles, but still decent.

While there aren’t any in-house original provably fair games at Oshi crypto casino, there are plenty from third-party providers. You’ll find them in the “Crash” section. Specific options include Aviator, Dice, Goal, and Keno from Spribe, Cryptos, Robo Dice, and Limbo from InOut, and Fury Stairs, Towers, and Mines from Turbo Games.

Given the lack of any interesting in-house originals at Oshi casino, I decided to run today’s CoinBets Challenge on one of my favorite slots: Madame Destiny Megaways from Pragmatic Play. Much like Sweet Bonanza, this Pragmatic slot usually seems to deliver for me. And, after the poor performance on the last slot, my bankroll needed rescuing.
Here’s the challenge I laid down:
50 x $1 standard spins, and then try to beat that RTP with 50 x $1.25 boosted spins – which are supposed to double the chances of triggering a feature.
Seemed like a very achievable challenge, to be honest.
But, it wasn’t.
After the 50 $1 standard spins, I’d won back a healthy $79.60, which equals an RTP of 159.2%. Can’t complain about that.

And after spending $62.50 on the 50 boosted spins? I’d only won back $61.80 – a real RTP of 98.88%. Which isn’t terrible, but it means I failed the challenge.
Just goes to show, you should think carefully before buying upgrades and bonuses. Often, regular spins are just as effective.

At the time of making this Oshi.io review, the platform did not offer esports or sports betting.

Compared to most crypto casino VIP programs, the 5-tier “Oshi VIP Team” scheme is refreshingly simple. Ranking is based on comppoints earned via wagering, and the rate of 1 point per $/€40 of real money bet.
The principal reward is cashback, which is added to accounts on Wednesdays at midnight UTC. Max cashback is $/€2,000 regardless of level.

Like most crypto casinos, Oshi offers 24/7 live chat support – though it is, initially at least, using a chatbot. Alternatively, you can email the Oshi casino support team at support@oshi.io.
There’s also a fairly comprehensive FAQ section answering the most common queries. You can also connect with the Oshi team via Telegram – though it doesn’t look like the casino has a presence on any other social media platform.

In terms of design and user experience, Oshi.io is clean and uncluttered. Navigation is intuitive, there are plenty of useful categories and filters, and everything seems to work fine. Visually, it’s a little sharper than most competitors, and there are a few subtle differences in terms of menu layout – but nothing dramatic.
One of the strongest points for Oshi is that all terms and conditions (once you’ve logged in) are easy to find and clearly written. Easy to use responsible gambling tools are also provided, allowing you to set loss limits, wager limits, and session limits without needing to contact support. This is great to see – but then again, all Curacao-licensed online casinos will soon be required to do this.

In addition to English, Oshi crypto casino is available in the following languages:

There’s no dedicated Oshi casino mobile app, but the website has been optimized to run smoothly on mobile browsers, so you can still play on your smartphone.
Oshi casino’s operator, Dama N.V., is one of the biggest businesses in the crypto casino space – operating around a hundred different online gambling brands. These include casinos like BitStarz (technically now operated by Gareton B.V. – but this is likely associated with Dama N.V.), Bitkingz, run4win, Rocket Play, Level Up, Playfina, King Billy, Golden Star Casino, Joo Casino, Katsubet, Loki Casino, Spin Samurai, 7BitCasino, and many others.
However, Dama has also been involved in its fair share of controversy. For example, in 2024 the company was declared bankrupt during a dispute about unpaid winnings. However, by August, the court in Willemstad had overturned the judgement, and Dama claimed to have settled the case with players.
Right, we’ve seen what Oshi crypto casino offers, but what are players saying about it? Well, here are a few ratings from popular casino review sites.
| Platform | Overall Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 1.8 Poor | (based on 105 reviews) |
![]() | 8.4/10 Safety Index: High | User feedback good (based on 204 reviews) |
![]() | CasinoRank: 9.1 Trusted | Player Rating: 9.1 (1,342 reviews) |

As you can see, the ratings are mixed. Trustpilot’s score is exceptionally low, but Casino Guru and AskGamblers give it glowing reviews. Of course, you need to keep in mind that the latter two are both iGaming affiliates, with financial incentives to promote casinos, including Oshi.

Verdict
Okay then, after spending a day at Oshi.io, what’s my verdict?
Well, overall, it seems like a pretty solid crypto casino. It’s been operating for a long time, which is usually a good sign, and it’s well designed and everything seems to work properly. The games portfolio is good and there, the welcome bonus seems reasonable, and there are plenty of promos for regular players – plus the loyalty/VIP program is relatively straightforward.
However, the crypto support isn’t amazing, and there’s a distinct lack of any crypto-first or Web3 features. Indeed, in reality, Oshi casino is a very conventional Web2 online gambling platform that just accepts Bitcoin and a few other mainstream cryptos.
And then there’s the operator and licensing. Dama doesn’t have the greatest reputation in the world. But in fairness, its chief problem seems to be that it runs so many online casinos, it sometimes neglects some of its smaller brands. More pressingly, the new Curaçao licensing regime, with its mandatory KYC before any withdrawal, is going to cause issues for players trying to use the casino from banned countries via VPNs. But again, this isn’t the casino’s fault, and is going to be affecting every Curaçao-licensed casino going forward.
So, overall, Oshi seems to “do what it says on the tin.” If you’re from an allowed country and are just looking for a pure online casino that supports crypto deposits and withdrawals and offers plenty of ongoing rewards, Oshi could be worth a try. But even so, I strongly recommend keeping your balance low until your account is fully verified and you’ve made some successful withdrawals.
But, that’s just what I think. Have you played at Oshi casino recently? If so, why not write a CoinBets review and share your thoughts with the player community?
Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay safe, good luck, and most importantly, have fun.
